I can assure you it doesn't impact my life at all one way or another

I'm not one of those who let's football dictate their day/week/month.

I've grown up in an era where LUFC have been crap for practically all of it, you'd be a manic depressive if you let it bother you.

As for deserving credit, the owners do for making Farke get his finger out with the threat of unemployment ;-)

And I stand by what I said about subs, tactics etc and don't care if people want to mock for it , I'm not that sensitive

One man's flippant is another man's snide.

Flippant and snide are not direct synonyms, but they can share similar connotations of disrespect or sarcasm. Flippant refers to a lack of seriousness, while snide often implies a derogatory or mocking tone.

Whatever can be said about Farke, in this game he got the subs exactly right.

Tanaka, Aaronson, and Gnonto changed the game entirely, and it wasn't just the energy they brought to the pitch. The tactical instructions they received were also spot on. Farke seems to have turned both himself and the team around. At least I hope so.

I fully agree, Chilli.

I got home from Saturday nights game feeling ecstatic.

Logged onto here, and after 10 minutes reading the match thread i felt like we'd lost.

Logged off. Had a drink, and felt ecstatic again. :)

Strangely enough I was going to liken it to Trumpism but didn't want to antagonise our american contingent, cousin f*cking hog gobblers that they are.

Someone observed that Farke had spent about 5 minutes with them prior to bringing them on thoroughly going over some tactics.

It was a GREAT comeback draw against Liverpool! But it started with a great 2nd half against Man City, and a great WIN over Chelsea!! Positive things are happening. The trick now is to keep it going. We could use another 4 points out of our next 4 matches. That would put us in reasonable shape going into the 2nd half of the season.

You missed the note pads and them feverishly scribbling down what each other says, and repeating the same ideas as though they were inspired insights, not realising they were creating a toxic bubble vapid echo chamber.

Great footage, and a bit of the Ramones after the game, what's not to like?!
