January Transfer Window? - Poll of the Day (15th Jan)
With the loan moves of Harrison, Gray & Meslier & a distinct possibility of selling one of our championship stars, it suggests new signings are on the way to ER.
Re: January Transfer Window? - Poll of the Day (15th Jan)
Epicurus wisely cautioned: “Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not;”
As Leeds United compete in the Premier League again in mid-January 2026, after years spent dreaming of a lasting return during the Championship era, the January transfer window’s swirl of rumours can easily pull focus toward what might still be missing... what we need to survive, just a few extra players to cover for injuries or suspensions. The thought is to provide cover for all contingencies, and that could be expensive or even unfeasible given financial constraints.
Yet true contentment lies in appreciating the present reality, a squad showing real resilience with a seven-game unbeaten run against top clubs, holding firm in mid-table.
Smart business in the window can help, of course, but the Epicurean path to calmer fandom is to savour these hard-earned achievements rather than let endless wanting diminish the joy of being back in the Premiership.
My motto would be be "More of the same with what we have"

Not sure the club will move on Harrison and Meslier this month although i hope their do as this would release £100,000 per week wages

Six of you had no confidence in our board.
Facundo Buonanotte is good start.

Voted yes as even if we don't sign anyone else after Buanotte it has improved our squad and probably the only area where we were lacking (creativity).
If we could sign someone like James Trafford on loan then it would be a fantastic transfer window so I doubt that will happen as he will likely feature in a fair few cup games for City and they will want him in case the big fella gets injured.

Because for me adding players may not be the board getting the job done. Depends on the quality of player.
