Absolutely, but I’d rather more teams in the mix.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 7:36 pm You don't think we're good enough to stay up without help?
Every little helps.

Re: Today's Games
All this angst over other results is a waste of effort.
Chill.
All will be fine.
A well deserved win for Bournemouth against moaning Liverpool who seem to expect teams to just lie down.

I love leeds till i die, i live ten min from elland road in churwell, been to lots of matches this season
But i despise liverpool with a passion, ive encountered many of their fans in my lifetime..
Nasty, horrible people
Every time liverpool lose, it brightens my day
Have a great weekend

All football fans have one eye on other results whether you're at the top of the league or the bottom. All fans hope that their nearest rivals get beaten....well, most fans anyway. Obviously some on here don't.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 7:35 pm Erm, yes.... I'd rather not stay up as the least s**t.

Re: Today's Games
We have to wish every misfortune on the teams in the relegation scrap. It’s as pragmatic as it is entertaining.
We are on 25 points with 16 games left. Entirely in our own hands.

It’s not angst JD, certainly not from me anyway.
I think we will be absolutely fine, but I’d still rather have as many teams in the relegation battle as possible.

Yes the more the merrier but we get too obsessed with other results imo.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 8:23 pm It’s not angst JD, certainly not from me anyway.

Its a very open league.
We shouldn’t fear the supposed “better” teams.
Liverpool would definitely top the Moaning League.

Second Yellow card for diving (84 mins). Blunts were already 3-1 up at the time.....

Hypothetical question pandagirl. Imagine it's the last day of the season. Leeds Utd need Liverpool to beat their opponents to keep us in the premier league. Do you want a liverpool win or a Liverpool loss?pandagirl wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 8:00 pm I love leeds till i die, i live ten min from elland road in churwell, been to lots of matches this season

On a different note....you are a Morley lass? I'm a Wakefield lass. I spent many a happy hour at Morley sports centre in the 80's with my Osset friends. Also remember fish and chips at the 'Fish Net' in the 80's....not sure it's still there.
