I may be wrong but I think you can vite during the match on the BBC which is bound to schew ratings.
Re: BBC vs MOT Average Ratings.
The BBC system is open to anyone who has an account so it’s not necessarily Leeds fans voting.
Sometimes whoever scores the winner or just a goal gets MOTM irrespective of how they played during the game.

It shows that MOT forum members are very harsh on Okafor.

I didn't score Okafor v Everton, didn't think he was on the pitch long enough

That's true regarding the Everton game, however Okafor is still the latest whipping boy on here.
Tanaka is generally loved, demonstrated by many clamouring for him to start.
Longstaff seems to have taken the blame for that 4 game losing run we had and is now considered bang average.
Once the die is cast it takes at least 10 very good performances before posters change their perceptions with Aaronson being a very good example.

Criticising a big money signing for being poor isn't making him a whipping boy? He's been poor.Jammy 07 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 11:15 pm That's true regarding the Everton game, however Okafor is still the latest whipping boy on here.

Aaronson was poor to average for 95% of his time here.
Hardly like they have been unfairly criticised.
Ironically Aaronson has become the new golden boy for some and it's gone the other way.
Longstaff always was bang average . . . . A poor Jordan Henderson who in turn was a poor Steven Gerrard

It seem like our members refuse to post up ratings when we don't play well for the whole 90 minutes
Where were the ratings from those who are being critical of others? who spent their time showing their opinions of individual performances with their ratings.

Re: BBC vs MOT Average Ratings.
He was on the pitch as long as Buonanotte & Longstaff, which was about ten minutes, probably not long enough to rate. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 10:18 pm I didn't score Okafor v Everton, didn't think he was on the pitch long enough
Tanaka the only one on the pitch for a substantial amount of time.
Re: BBC vs MOT Average Ratings.
£17M for Okafor isn't big money though as any top winger is £30M plus these days. Even Dan James was £25M and that was 5 years ago. Expectation therefore should be lowered and on that basis he's probably doing ok.Cjay wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 11:47 pm Criticising a big money signing for being poor isn't making him a whipping boy? Aaronson had one season during which he started brightly, faded quite badly and then left. Since returning he was good in the Championship and is now deservedly getting high praise for his performances in the PL. How does that equate to 95% of his performances being poor to average ?
Longstaff started brightly before his performances dropped off and then he was out injured. Now gradually working his way back into contention so maybe let's wait and see before throwing him into the bang average category.
Re: BBC vs MOT Average Ratings.
Call me an anorak, but this is when my notes are handy to assess our players
Tanaka match stats.
Very good/good
1 - Defensive header
1 - Block
1 - Tackle
Poor
3 - Poor passes
1 - Slow to track Gueye after an atrocious pass.
1 - Didn't stop the cross.
I can understand why Ao received 5 or under.
5/10 for me.
Difficult to judge the other subs, though Longstaff made one poor corner & also skied a glorious chance into the stands
