Part of his job yes, and I agree he needs to improve his figures when it comes to assists and goals ( time will tell on this front).
But there is more to a good offensive player, like getting the ball up the pitch, giving the opposition something to deal with, therefore not being camped in our half like Everton were on Monday night.

Think that was likely based on those posters looking at what JSL had done last season and thinking he would improve a struggling Wolves side. However since making his comeback against us he has done very little this season to improve Wolves. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Fri Jan 30, 2026 1:27 pm I seem to remember a number of posts when we played Wolves saying they were relieved JSL wasn't starting...

As a signing you're both happy with him then ?Johnthewhite wrote: ↑Fri Jan 30, 2026 4:19 pm Part of his job yes, and I agree he needs to improve his figures when it comes to assists and goals ( time will tell on this front).

JSL or spend on a new keeper.

After todays performance I think it might be a good idea to strengthen other areas before lashing out 40 mill + on a striker.

Apparently his agent was again at the game, the impression he gave was JSL will remain a Wolves player.

Season ticket holder isn’t he (or have I dreamt that).
Anyway, you have to attend 80% of games to get the right to renew so ST holders very rarely miss games.

Fingers crossed he doesn't bang in 7-10 for Palace then.... If West Ham get a defender that would be a bit worrying too.

We are obviously stretched in certain positions, our board have a different opinion.
Our fans will just have to accept the situation.

Boils my blood that one, I wonder what they thought yesterday when a good few hundred walked out on about 75 minutes
Would never do that myself, but it does make you wonder about the wisdom of all the big plans to expand the stadium to 55k.
If we're not constantly in the top ten of the Premier League who's going to fill it.

It's only the third time ER has been full to capacity this season.Johnthewhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:48 pm Yes, we cannot upset the Yanks![]()

Only the hardened supporters remain to applaud our players off the pitch after the game.

I know someone that did but she struggles when the crowd leaves so she'll either sit in the stadium till it's emptied enough or leave early. considering the game was done and dusted seems prudent she left earlyJohnthewhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:48 pm Yes, we cannot upset the Yanks![]()

Sorry but I fail to see these fans forking out for a season ticket without any chance of some glory. Not having a go at anyone BTW, just that I see this as fact

Can understand in such circumstances and she has my sympathy and utmost respect for her continued loyal support. I visit ER each game with my wife who is disabled and struggles with balance/walking so waiting until the ground is almost empty suits us too.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 3:18 pm I know someone that did but she struggles when the crowd leaves so she'll either sit in the stadium till it's emptied enough or leave early. considering the game was done and dusted seems prudent she left early
I was referring to the younger ones who come in tanked up and refuse all requests from the stewards to sit down during the game, then block the view of the fans that cannot stand for 90 minutes for whatever reason. I witnessed many of these leaving yesterday after around 75 minutes, at least we got to sit down
