Not the case.

He is our No1 penalty taker.
He's failing to score goals, yet you trust him to convert the spot kick?

But... today hats off..

Down to 10 men, and Selhurst Park on its day can be a tough place to go to

To still get away with a point is great, and as long as we pick up a win in the next game or two, then i will be happy

But for today only i will accept a draw.

PS DCL is really getting on my knockers. I was the first to praise him during his golden period but now hes just showing 0 IQ and is actually a hinderence!
Panda, apart from his penalty miss, DCL worked tirelessly & had a decent game.

Their £50m striker Strand-Larsen did nowhere near the work Dominic got through.

The only good thing is the others haven't taken advantage, although the gap is down from 8 to 3.

It's only a "good point" if we beat Brentford. If we don't, then it isn't. These are the kind of games we should be winning though. I doubt WH/Nuno would be celebrating a draw.

Longstaff would have been a liability probably. You're not bringing on Bornauw or Perri obviously, Which leaves Tanaka as the only possible sub but Gruev was playing well
Have to say, Gruev made an important contribution today, when we required it in the second-half.

Brilliant sub from Farke!

Thats true but I would be more worried if we were playing badly.

Lucky to get one point.
Yes, and that's an away game out of the way and as you were in the table (dependant on Spuds result). Also that's Wet Spam and Florist only drawing at home so they are a home game down.

PS: Nmecha or Stach on pens please…
Calvert-Lewin is our penalty taker.

If they score then obviously you bring on Gnonto and maybe Piroe... but at 0-0 you're playing for a draw when down to 10. Gruev so good and making things difficult for opposing teams, closing down spaces, rerouting players. He's like a shut down corner at times... even if he doesn't show much on the ball.

Definition of team player, doesn't need to start every game, didn't need to start this one but the right sub tbf at the right time.. Aaronson has been in fade for a while anyway

Well, the team do.

All strikers go through times without scoring its just the way it is.

Its very easy to be wiser after the fact.

We're not playing well to be fair, don't think we've gone into games with the right starting line up a lot this season.. Bogle should have started for me, Aaronson shouldn't have. Nmecha and DCL don't compliment each other so wouldn't have started Nmecha. But the in game management was good from Farke ..

Plus DCL pushed out from the short corner to catch Brennen Johnson offside when Palace thought they had scored. Had he been just a little bit lazy then the goal would have been allowed.

No, it's a good point irrespective if we don't lose any ground to our direct competitors.

If we get beat by Brentford but Spurs, Forest and West Ham also lose, it's as you were, but today still remains a good point.

All we need to do is maintain or increase our lead over somebody else for the next 8 games. Today we could have seen it decreased but we didn't.
