Strangely enough you can't just turn up for a match and tell the opponents to sit back so you can attack them. Bournemouth are a good team and didn't want to simply sit back against us. I don't think we were deliberately looking to sit back but Bournemouth are a good team, pressed us well and made it harder for us to maintain possession.

I think we should be a lot closer to them than we are, just too many points thrown away in injury time.

Well that game is a classic example wouldn’t you say.
In a season where we finish say 6th or 7th we win those games. A clinical finish from Okafor or Nmecha and nick the 3 points.
People say we robbed a point but could’ve easily robbed all three. That is proper Scouse robbing.

All the Sky pundits saying we were lucky. No we weren’t. The ref got big decisions right, backed up by VAR, and we battled hard to share the points.
Okay, Bournemouth were the better side, but we hung in there. That isn’t luck - that is temperament, and we have it in bucket loads.

Never say die spirit, heads never dropped, tenacious, true grit, brilliant substutes, Farke must be pleased with the outcome as well as the fans.

A point per game was the goal and with 40 points on week 33 puts us well ahead of the curve.

Some fans like to criticse our squad and blame the recrutiment team for not doing a good job, but its our squad thats getting us through these tough games.
We had players tonight that have been playing well of late for us, but tonight they were not as good as they have been. We bring on subs and they make a difference, its what having a squad is all about.
Some fans are forgetting that we are in our first season back in the Premiership and we are still getting used to it, even this late in the season. Good as we have been this season, its still a big learning curve for the players and manager.
We cant always get it right. I know thats hard for some fans to cope with

I’m similar, it’s Leeds after all but I can’t see us not getting more points and I can’t see where spurs get 9 to even get to our current tally.

We sit back in every away game and end up conceding. We were on top after the goal at 1-1, then sat back and conceded another late goal.

Can't remember being SO pissed off at any USMNT player not named McKennie. But Adams earned my ire today! He was an outright prick to our supporters. Unacceptable!!

Tactical move I think.

Struijk & Bijol were magnificent tonight.

We were a mess defensively without the big man.

Almost cost us, didn't help that Rodon didn't look on his game. Bijol is a one trick pony but he does that trick so very well. Struijk is more adaptable but he was everywhere tonight marshalling our defence..

If only Piroe could do the same when he comes on. We should not have to rely on a perceived plodder to smash one in. Look I am no Longstaff fan. He has done the job he was brought in for - depth and experience. He will be a strong voice in the changing room.
The fact that so many just slag him off all the time shows a complete lack of ever having played the game except at under 7’s level.

Just seems to be the way.
Darlow slagged off before he got a decent run in the side to show what he can do.
Okafor slagged off before he gets usded to the country, used to the style of football, over his injury problems etc.
GG slagged off, all the goals coming down our left etc.
DCL slagged off till he got a few goals
etc etc
