Seems I’ve got the wrong thread.
Was thinking the same OB.
Such a pity

Having been to 3 Wembley finals with Leeds in the past, I still find it difficult to get particularly excited about the FA (f**k all) cup nowadays. 8-)

Who’d settle for it going to penalties if offered now ?

If you had to be born in the city or county to support a particular team then how do people on here or anywhere else for that matter think that would affect said club’s revenue stream?
Not that many home grown players at many clubs or home grown managers.
How far do narrow minded “real” fans want to go with this exactly.

It isn’t the competition that it was but you could aim that at football as a whole and sport in general.
How many victories in your attendance? 1?

Leaving home soon to travel the 8 miles to my brothers house where I’m watching the game.

Good luck and safe travels to everyone, wherever you are watching today.

Cjay wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 11:05 am Hadn't realised the Chelsea caretaker manager is basically their version of Skoobs (pre Lincoln obviously)

Non league coach, youth coach, now senior coach with 2 whole games at senior level (hasn't won one).

Nothing to fear here.

How on earth is he meant to earn the trust of the overpaid, overhyped, crybabies in that Chelsea dressing room?
He had them playing very well when he took over last time.

Drew with Citeh after going man to man with them then lost to Fulham when Chelsea had a sending off.

The players like him.

I usually don’t get overly excited about it but now that we’re in the semis’ it’s the biggest cup match in the world :scarfe2: :celeb: :scar1

I've dug out my bottle opener that plays Marching on together.

My Leeds socks got holes the season we relegated so they aren't available.

I haven't decided what top to wear.

Redbull
Top Man
Strongbow
Boxt

Once that is in place I'll be ready.

Jammy 07 wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 10:02 am There's quite a few of those that are born and bred in Leeds that chose to support Man Utd.

That's a fact because some of the people I grew up with have chosen that route so doesn't matter where you're from as it's just a personal decision. Also being a home grown fan as it were doesn't negate you from any observations of perceived negativity, or that you might not be fully supportive of the club in my opinion and anyway that's just debate and why we're all here in the first place.

For what it's worth there's plenty of times I've been highly critical of the club, manager, individual players and also fellow supporters because that's all part of being a fan and we're all entitled to our point of view.
