In a strange way Parker going before our game might just help us. He always ( it seemed ) had a good set of results for his teams against us. Maybe the new guy in charge wont have that same effect on this game. Burnley ended up getting relagated not just becaue Parker is a bad manager, but because his squad were simply not good enough.
I know some will point at the Chelsea game and say look what happened to them after Rosenior went and how they eneded up beating us. Big difference is Chelsea have a quality squad that just needed to get away from Roseniors tactics, Burnely dont have anything like that in their squad.
This game is there for the taking if we are brave enough and have a bit of luck as well.

It's hard to know what to expect.

It shouldn't change much, Burnley are awful.

But he got a decent set of results last time, 11 points from 8 games including against 2 top 10 teams.

So who knows.

I imagine he will tell the players you are not alone.

It doesn't matter if it isn't a thriller and if we have to steal the points like a smooth criminal its OK and they will beat it after back to Burnley

It doesn't matter if they play bad, be dangerous when they have the ball, and it is only human nature to be nervous.

You make it sound so black or white. Regardless of anything they will be giving 100%, they don't care about us.

You don't have to go back too far to a game where we played a wounded team under a caretaker coach as they'd just fired their manager. It didn't go well for us.

Im worried Paul. Pacing the living room, wringing my hands, with a furrowed brow.

But then Leeds United have always had an ability to make me worry. :-D

I did put us down for a 3-1 win though.

Let's get this done tonight so we can be on brandy and cigars for the last three games. It would be great to watch the Spurs and West Ham fans s**tting themselves for the last few games knowing we're safe.

I’ve just watched the Inside Training video on YouTube. Everybody looked a little flat, if I’m honest. A few players huffing and puffing. I wonder if Wembley took too much out of them, I hope not.

Its all a cunning plan to fool Burnley into thinking its going to an easy game for them, as Leeds are knackered :)

Believe it or not but i watched the video that 64 had put on here and was going to say ( as a joke ) i thought the players looked tired and rusty and needed a break, and that we should give as many as possible a break tonight. Then i read your message

I predicted a 4-0 win but surely a point is enough to keep us up right? That said: I’ll settle for a win by any score. A win more-or-less guarantees safety! I expect Spuds to not better 38 points but let’s do our bit regardless.

PS: I actually think we’ll win at Spuds…
