I am not into making comparisons between team mates in those terms. You can see the togetherness in the squad and that takes some brilliant man management. No sulking on the bench.
I would have loved to see Gnonto and Piroe play more. But I accept the reality that the way we play suits other players and this season it has all been about about staying up.
Farke has got it right by going with big bastards FC as they say on the square ball.
Some players may move on to clubs who can utilise or accommodate their games. No doubt if they play well Farke will have made a big error for some.
I hope we can keep Gnonto he will be a big plus for us when we are in a position to play more expansively.
The togetherness of our squad is second to none!
Gnonto & our other squad players seem very happy when I see them limbering up prior to the games and also whilst watching the training videos.

It is clear that is set up he thrives in. But would he be a catastrophe in a back 4 ?. Purely speculation without actually having anny evidence other than one or two games, which for some is all they need to make a decision.
Good centre backs in a back 4 four create partnerships and it takes time. Struijk was often maligned for years on this forum. Indeed he was deemed as a better left back by some - I have a long memory.
He has become a top CB and clubs will be making enquiries about him this summer without a doubt.

What are the positives SG ?
Late goals are generally defined by a clubs position in the table. Once we have a better squad and hopefully move up the table - the confidence to play our game for the full 90+ mins becomes easier as we can replace tired quality with comparable quality.

Positives: the amount of goals we've scored, smart recruitment, going toe to toe with the Big clubs (except Arsenal), good home record, FA Cup semi final.
Oh yeah, away record needs improving too. The second season is always harder, especially as we're not coming off the euphoria of a 100 point season. We can't afford to be complacent like smug AK and the three stooges who decided to stand still.

Anyway, I was just wanting to jokingly counter Subhuman's gloom post stating we have lost our last 3 May Day matches. Which was of course correct. Until last night.
Being able to relax with 3 games to go is going to take some getting used to, usually at this stage of the season I have no fingernails, behind the sofa is spotless, I’ve had to buy 3 new tv’s and the wife & dog have moved out, maybe I won’t tell the wife & dog we’re safe

100%. Myself and others said this earlier in the season. We have lapses during games partly due to the oposition having a good spell ( which some fans prefer to call Leeds being sh**e ) and our lack of quality in being able to manage the game well enough.Not being able to manage things well enough at certain times is down in part to the manager and the players. Thats not a dig at them, its just how it is with this squad at the moment.
Next season with better players added to the squad we hopefully should see us manage games better and not drop silly points like we have done this season.

I honestly cant see us making the same mistakes this time. We have to upgrade this squad.

Pascal was poor in the second-half, tackles & defending he should have dealt with ease but he made a right old mess of it, making the final 30 minutes a nervous affair for our fans when we should have been coasting the game.

He did look distracted, his body language was not what I am used to seeing. Any player can have a bad game.
