There's a time and place - why not just be happy? Cjay could debate the point another day when we look at how to strengthen the squad. Just eat the chips, don't p*ss on them.

But the inference is that since Beto is so much better and the stats show it. He would have banged in more goals for us... as it is DCL is sloppy seconds, we couldn't get Beto and had to settle for DCL.

Beto has scored 9 Premier League goals for Everton so far. NOT AS GOOD AS DCL.

How many has DCL scored?

I'm not getting drawn into another stupid mountain out of molehill Struijk type moment.

Take it as you like 😅

Was literally just quoting a fact, never mentioned Beto being better or us should signing him or selling DCL.

Literally just mentioned a fact.

You've just diminished Calvert-Lewin's goal.

Can't you be happy when we win & rave about own players achievements, as opposed to our opponents players.

It was a wonderful goal from Dominic.

Anyway, you should be happy to see Piroe & Gnonto come on, although not a lot occurred or changed in an attacking sense, once we brought on our subs.

And Sunderland paid £26m for Beto.

He should never have been picked to play, he probably tried to fool the medical team into thinking he was fit enough. :)

Chatgpt to the rescue.

Including all competitions (league + cups) this season:
Beto for Everton: 10 goals in 2,917 minutes across all competitions... that’s 292 minutes per goal.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Leeds: roughly 15 goals in about 2,650 minutes across all competitions... around 177 minutes per goal. Today’s winner vs Brighton pushed him to 15 for the season.

So when you add the cups in, Calvert-Lewin has been more efficient than Beto this season, about 115 minutes quicker per goal.

OH HOW DATA CAN BE MASSAGED

Just admit that his goal ruined your post match monologue about him being a favourite and Piroe not getting a chance. So you had to come up with a worthless comparison to ease your frustration.
