He’s been superb this season, not just his goals, but his all round game.

That said, I’d be very surprised if we don’t bring in a new striker, with DCL as an excellent backup.

Keep

Keep. As 2nd in line to a new striker hopefully. He had a prolific season by his standards and suited our style of play very well and should continue to do so.

Great season considering his recent career and hopefully he can continue in the same form next season.

Keep and would look to also bring in another striker to compete/compliment him. If we persist with 532- or a version of it - I feel he needs someone close to him as the 2. Also the stats may not back me up (haven't done the research) I think the team benefits when there is someone alongside DCL that can go beyond him, so more like Okafor, with the pace, than Aaronsen who is more likely to be working from midfield to attack so is usually less likely to be in a position to go past DCL (or when he does, as shown in the cup semi, he isn't likely to make the most of the chance).

With someone alongside DCL chipping in with goals it hopefully helps create more chances for DCL as well as making it less noticeable if DCL has a lengthy period without a goal.

Only six EPL players scored more goals than DCL this past season.

More votes for Piroe than two top goalscorers/assists stars.

No surprise there I suppose!

And our fans moan about DCLs missed chances

They all miss sitters.

You only have watch Arsenal's best defender Gabriel blast one over the bar last night.

Again, these are not popularity contests....

Piroe has 2 votes (8%)
DCL has 19 (95%)

How is that pro Piroe over DCL ...

If we play to his strengths he’s a keeper! Had a very good season but only really scores from the centre of the goal. A better striker is needed for next season (if we can find anyone who would join us)…

I meant the whole votes on the Piroe poll as oppose to the votes on the Calvert-Lewin poll

It is a popularity contest as the Gudmundsson poll acquired 40 points in quick time, now on 52.

Gnonto - 36
Piroe - 32
DCL - 25
Okafor - 24

Ampadu's poll struggled to attain 25 votes, went up to 29 last night, after much bumping his poll has attracted 39 votes.

OK so frame it as a popularity poll ..

Not sell keep etc but Do you like Ampadu Yes or No ...

Ampadu was a no brainer in the context you framed the vote, there was no need to vote once he won the vote.

Run a new one

Sell Ampadu for 70M or give a new contract..That might attract more votes

I'm looking for a minimum of 35 votes for every player.
