NZ missed a chance to review a definite out but didn't, the one they did a few balls later, was clipping and stayed with umps decision Bethell gets very lucky

Gay looks good though, does remind me technique wise of Greame Hick.

Huge wicket, Williamson goes with 5/6 minutes remaining. Chasing 254 to win they're 32-2. Think they would have been favourites had the day ended with them 40-1 but no one is in on this wicket

If this were county cricket we'd get a points penalty and a fine

New Zealand need to dig in as they are looking to score another 218 runs, a loss of two of three early wickets would surely sealed the match for England.

An easy victory for Yorkshire winning by 106 runs against our arch rivals Lancashire in the Blast.

Hampshire also won by 5 runs at Surrey.

The MCC feel they are untouchable. Taking away the Ashes test next year should wake them up.. and give it to Headingley :)

Its quite feasible New Zealand won't overtake their 113 first innings total.

P.ss off rain, 1st week of summer and look at the rain.
1st week of winter here played bowls today in shorts,t-shirt & bare foot.
The latter being allowed as it was a club game.

Michael Vaughan having a right old moan about the umpires not allowing play when rain stopped. Check BBC app video of him.

All over, awful wicket. 24 dismissals bowled or LBW is a record in England

Gay probably player of the match as one of two half centuries on a very very bowler friendly wicket.

Tough day in the field today for us ... Surrey 224-3. Our part time spinner is struggling going at 8 an over, Dawson or any spinner is badly missed

Think we're down tbh
