I've seen this shirt in the last decade or so

So it's Championship or Premier League club.

That narrows it down to 43 clubs, as it's definitely not Leeds.

Can't be a team whose home colours are blue, so we can rule out several others.

It's not nine of the current PL teams, has to be a team who plays in a red, black or white (excluding Leeds) shirt.
