DCL on the bench is good news, still no Bijol
James gives Wilson a rest
Justin over Bornauw for the third CB is interesting

Strong side bar keeper

The goalkeeper situation is ridiculous and embarrassing. Playing our 4th choice keeper from last season in a big friendly against Liverpool.... 😳

Trafford, Wilson & Calvert-Lewin & it would be our starting line-up as things stand now.

Straightforward to me. Bornauw has demonstrated throughout his time with us that he cannot last a full match let alone play 2 or 3 consecutively without getting an injury. As such completely unreliable. JJ has shown the opposite, always available and willing to play, and play well, wherever selected. As such for me if there is a space open that JJ can fill (basically anywhere along the back 4/5) I'd be getting him in and keeping him match sharp.

Whether or not Bornauw is a better CB than JJ is irrelevant (and would be subjective either way) as Bornauw is simply unreliable selection/availability wise.

Would think Bijol would get a start too.

Scouser commentary better than the American.

It is what it is although a half each from Mahady and Ombang might have indicated a possible number 2 at ER already

Not sure about Okafor, it should be him or Wilson. We can't start 12

Just be careful - they will know what room you are watching it in and then rob stuff from the rest of your house.

Yeah good to have options and do think Okafor will be starting games. Although not a bad player to have as an impact sub either.

Watched it for a couple of seconds on Scouse TV, had to turn it off. No way could listen to that for a full match. Was bad enough with Michael Owen and Steve McMananabananamanaman commentating last season for American tv.

They’d need a big swag bag to nick stuff from Mr 64’s house.
