We were nowhere that easy with this system last season.

Something has gone wrong somewhere their are gaps all over the place.

Liverpool meant the first goal judging by Kerkez’s reaction after flicking the ball on from the corner.
Having to watch it on LTV so they are showing replays.
Still poor by Leeds though.

DCL for Nmecha
Leinou for Justin
Wilson for James
Ombang for Cairns

For me

Gnonto on around the 60 mark if we haven't got one back

We've looked worse than Liverpool both on and off the ball which given its their reserves isn't great.

I don't understand why we are having the gaps we seem to allow

Been the same every game, really really easy to get to our box whereas we struggle to create anything

Nmecha been our best player imo.
Yeah they spent £120m+ on Wirtz and Isak to bolster their squad. I would say they have as many that will start their first league match as we will have.

I don't think Stach, Ampadu and Tanaka works as a midfield unit.

We should outnumber them in midfield but we don't and part of that is Ampadu keeps going walkies

Miss Aaronsen's running. For me it is Aaronsen or Tanaka if we are trying to play this system but Aaronsen's pace and energy works better alongside the other midfielders we have.

They've 5 academy players in their team yet look a far better team than us atm.

Still think the issue is Amps he's so high at times and I've no idea why.

Me too!

Infact I have watched all our friendly games with the volume on mute.

Well, we've played poorly, and I don't think this squad is capable of playing in a 3-4-3 yet. Not against good teams anyway.

Don't mind losing and it's expected with Cairns in goal because we were never going to keep a clean sheet but I think we should be learning something tactically. Hopefully it's don't play Ampadu as the box to box, we need two new keepers and we now need a left back probably

Mahady is an excellent shot stopper but he's small. Ombang is bigger...

Big difference is that their academy players are top level academy players or players poached from elsewhere such as Ngumoha. They have 6 players I reckon will start their first match (same as us) kerkex, Frimpong, Szbozli, Wirtz, Ngumoha and Isak. They also have a keeper that has played professionally above league 1 standard (okay I think Cairns made 1 appearance for us in the championship after Rachubka had a meltdown).

I don't know why you always seem to want to knock our club.

Yeah like you say it seems Ampadu plays forwrad and Tanaka sits more whereas Ampadu sitting and Aaronsen box to box seems better.
