Stach is the better player but Longstaff has had a better pre season.
You go with the players you trust to do a job for you, and more importantly, the player who is in better form. As it stands now Longstaff is that player.

They swore little Brendan would fall,
A lightweight who’d flop on the ball.
Man United he torched,
Left the Red Devils scorched,
And served humble pie to them all!

All the credit to Aaronson I see, none for James who did the actual work. Apart from the goal Aaronson was very meh. Needs to get his head up and stop looking at the ball all the time

The Glory Glory Man Utd [1983] chant was the last of 3 iterations of that fan favourite. I hoped Leeds used it first [Glory Glory Leeds United: 1968] but the first football usage of the 'Glory Glory Hallelujah' football adaptation was by Tottenham [1960]

Why don't you play that sh*t on your banjo and then post the video?

I gave James credit and made the point, once again, that pace always give you a threat. Very tidy finish by BA to get it out of his feet and give the keeper no chance.

Seems BA gets no praise from some when he works his socks off and has no end product and then gets no praise when he has end product is perceived to have not done much. Poor BA, I pity the fools who don't rate him.

Its always the same though, its a small minority that cause the problems, they go to these games simply looking to wind people up and get something started. For some strange reason they see this as a bit of fun :?
Apparently, some kids ran on the pitch at the end, the TV cameras didn't show it.

The final minute wasn't played because of the pitch invasion.

Farke rates him & that's good enough for me.

Aaronson was part of our championship title winning team & played his part in us finishing 14th in the PL last season.

Didn’t realise it wasn’t shown, two little Manure kids ran on first and then there were 6/7 different ones ran on & tried to get photos with the players. The stewards were useless so the ref just blew for full time.
A couple of snipers on the roof would have sorted it out in no time.

Unfortunate suggested solution.

Couple of kids to start with, you can't hurt kids so not the stewards fault. Did a good job looking at the above video

Multitude of reasons - I am really busy working and pre season is just some people down playing signings.

I did have a brief look at the Willy Gnonto thread - it needs a poll to establish if he only has one forum champion. Honestly I do wonder how people can write such guff.

Personally, it was something that was mildly irritating and not the sort of thing that should be happening at football matches but in this instance it was a friendly match and the culprits were some kids that got carried away and did something really silly. No point in getting into a lather over it TBH.

Can't help thinking though that if that had happened at Elland Road there would be talk of shutting the ground for some games. WAL!
