Switched to Burnley v West Ham.
Wouldn't mind us picking up Flemming, he's quite a handful.

And I agree Flemming would make a good addition especially if Piroe leaves as expected and with Nmecha only having a year left on this contract.

I think Burnley have looked better going forward. Both teams have looked shambolic defensively.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2026 3:13 pm Same here.

Re: Today's Games
West Ham have a hell of a team for the championship.
They haven't had to rebuild their team as Leeds had to. I wonder how many players they'll lose in the remainder of the transfer window.

West Ham though have far more quality in attack.
Midfield doesn't look great but Engels should help them .

If they stutter and stumble then I reckon Chtistmas might be it for Maresca. Spit Guardiola is a tough act to follow and the Citeh fans, and the Owners will feel very entitledWhite Riot wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2026 2:48 pm I wonder how long the City fans patience will last with Maresca?

If things get bad in the league and in Europe I think he'll be canned in October.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2026 3:56 pm If they stutter and stumble then I reckon Chtistmas might be it for Maresca. Re: Today's Games
Cherries could easily turn over City next week on this showing, but hard to say what Bournemouth will be like without Iraola.
