I'm trying to work out if we've had a good window or not if there's no more business bar Willy going to Italy and as it stands

Trafford for Perri.. 55M out inside 12 months, nothing back. But yes, huge upgrade

Muha for Struijk - Struijk was one of our players of the season, huge shoes to fill. Roughly 20M went out, it looks an upgrade at moment but not a huge one

Elvedi for Bornauw. 8M out, unsure it's an upgrade as Bornauw didn't put a foot wrong last season or in preseason this

Wilson for Piroe and Gnonto if he goes - Two for one in terms of salary, I'd argue Gnonto is better than Wilson but add very solid depth at goalscorer in Piroe and it's probably not an upgrade

Zetterer for Darlow, toss up but we pay 4.2M extra

We did get stronger at keeper but for me that's all we can say for sure... The squad depth is weaker

In short: Leeds have brought in six players, including two goalkeepers, two centre-backs and Harry Wilson, while moving out a sizeable 13-man group through sales, loans and free transfers. The particularly striking feature is the goalkeeper overhaul: Meslier, Darlow and Perri out, Trafford and Zetterer in.

Whilst I won’t say it’s been a bad window overall, it is a bit of an odd one - go in to it saying most money will be spent in attack and come out of it with 80+ million spent on 2 goalkeepers and 3 defenders with just a free transfer in the attacking area - that’s a big change in priorities that warrants a bit of explanation.

we need to ALL OUT for a DCL back up and a player capable to replace DCL if he loses form etc- Flemming or the number 9 at Swansea.

Totally agree if I was the recruitment team I would be chasing Flemming down and get medical booked cos he doesn't want to stay there and defo comp for dcl cos I just don't think he will do the same this season .

He's a ways away from the first team but maybe.... Njinko is the exciting name for me. Scored again yesterday, 4 for the season so far. This one against Liverpool 21's. Winger last year seems to be thriving as a 9 this year

Fair point Victor, I think we still are developing them, by letting them get first team experience in other clubs. Herr Farke has shown he doesn't take risks in the 1st team so by keeping them at ER we're probably holding them back. By letting them play and develop elsewhere we get them back next season ready to slot in.

I’d suggest you watch Harry Gray playing in L1 for the Wendies as it’s abundantly clear he’s a long way from being PL ready.

Not sure about Harry tbh, he could easily be a very good prem player but take his time getting there, he's not shown much so far other than a solid 21 player (tbh I'm not one who thinks loan moves are particularly beneficial.) I don't think we'll see his best until he's 21 plus which is 3 years away if he even gets there... People mature at different rates..

We have another young striker. 18 is not too young. Not when you are 6'4", and built like a BSH.
