On a serious note, why wasn’t Struijk re-signed? He was probably my favorite player last year. I’m a little partial, my kids are half-Indonesian, his age, and even look like him. So I was sorry to see him go.

I wear a Burberry bucket hat and cross-body bum bag to every Leeds Supporters Club meeting at the Londoner pub in Dallas. I’ve even got blue-and-yellow Air Max, and one of my cars is a Mini Cooper S decked out in proper British tradition.
We only live once, and we live now. I was born piss-poor in a Soviet ghetto and somehow ended up fairly well-off in Texas. Not Bezos rich, more like plastic-surgeon rich. Kids are grown, graduated from top universities, job done.
So now? I do what I want. I’m a Texas Chav. Burberry, Leeds, Mini Cooper and all. I’ll post some pictures from one of our meetings soon so you can properly assess the midlife crisis. MOT.

I was Pascals biggest fan here last season, think we miss him tbh and much as I like Muha he's only a small upgrade because Pascal was so good last season

Our only real upgrade in the window was Trafford. IMO. With Bahoya the wild card, will he be an upgrade on Okafor?

Worth noting that Chelsea's starting line-up (their 'reserves') cost £237.3m (not including any further performance based add-ons) despite including 3 players that had come through their academy. 3 of their reserves costing upwards what we paid for our most expensive ever outfield signing (Tarik).

Agreed. Pascal and Ao both had fantastic seasons. I was genuinely shocked to see Pascal go, I thought he had become such an important part of the side, and I really expected Leeds to keep him.

For the Brits: Texas has *permitless carry, meaning eligible adults can generally carry a handgun openly in a holster or concealed without first getting a state handgun license. 2. I have just watched us ship 6 goals away to Chelsea.

3. For my own sanity sakes I need to wish you all a happy evening and a good rant or ten while I crack open the duty free ( the only plus of a day wasted sitting in Belfast International) and let the last few days process in my brain.

If it's any consolation I heard on the radio about a couple who had a honeymoon flight booked to the Maldives, after years of saving, that's had at least 3 days shaved off out of 10 and still counting stuck in the UK. Kybosched everything!

We got lucky and returned to UK from Lake Garda a week before the airport traffic control disaster to an email from East Midlands Airport to advise that our personal & account details might have been compromised after their parking server had been hacked!

i do come home now and again to check no one has broken into the house and stolen my furniture This was unplanned and all last minute as i had American friends come over and we had planned a few things in Ireland. But the weather was crap and we saw a good deal so just said why the hell not and booked it.
But taking my friends down to Southern Ireland when we get back and will play some golf and see how they like the taste of Guinness
Then we are off to Madrid at the end of the month Life can be hard sometimes
