Why is Farke averaging less than an 8 after we’ve just put 4 on Newcastle?

No agendas on this forum, phew.

I will do my scores tomorrow but DCL is my MoTM he bullied their defenders and should have had a hat-trick. Robbed of a certain goal by Bogle who was also immense.

God only knows, Dave.

Farke always scores low, pathetic really.

Where were we three & half seasons ago?

A proper No.9 performance, a rarity in modern day football.

He was immense, as was Bogle. All the starting 11 were great. The odd loose moments of play here and there. The level of intensity to win the ball back just strangled Newcastle. We won so many second balls I lost count.

Okafor trying a step over coming out of defense and losing the ball made me laugh and seethe in equal measure.

Ironically we scored from half chances and failed to convert the more presentable opportunities. Scoring 4 from an XG of less than 2 was surely highlighted by CJAY ?

I'll have a count-up when I get time to have another watch of the game.

Just shows you the different levels when we bring our subs on in mass, Dave.

Only James provided any impetus offensively.

Hadn't checked actually

Thanks for doing my work for me.

DCL missed an absolute sitter but I've graciously ignored that.

Stach also fluffed a big chance, in fact he didn’t get it on target. Players miss chances, keepers pull off good saves, players score when keeper should have saved.

DCL has always missed big chances and scores some difficult ones. The point is he is very often in the right positions around the 6 yard box to have a chance.

We had to play differently having taken off Calvert- Lewin. There is no point playing a long ball to Nmecha with his back to goal. We started playing counter, which wasn’t a bad strategy considering the score line.
