My seat would have been back in the bar in the terminal........

the older I get... the less I like flying.....

As a lot younger man than yourself I don’t mind flying it’s the stih you have to go through before you get on the bloody plane. Love Italy though, we’re in Bologna atm then onward to Florence & then Rome.

The plane was half empty so it was ‘ pick your seat sir ‘.

Great when that happens isn’t it. Our recent flight back to Bristol from Thessaloniki seemed pretty much full, however the two seats next to me in the extra legroom row were both empty, so I could effectively lie across all three for the trip. Far more comfortable

I've been to Florence and Rome, lovely cities, but not Bologna.

Bologna is more a working city with a large university/student vibe G&W, very enjoyable stay but a few days is plenty, off to Florence tomorrow.

Planning a theater day in London. Just scored tickets to see a matinee performance of Bill Bailey's one-man show followed by an evening performance of The Lives of Others starring Keira Knightley, Stephen Dillane, and Luke Thompson.

Can't wait.

Like every city most city centre restaurants are overpriced tourist traps, go a few streets back and do a bit of research before you go. Enjoy !
