He lost his edge latterly.

He got run into the ground a bit but you'd have to be blind not to see the talent and the big part he played in that Bielsa team in both divisions. His movement and vision was a level only Raphinha matched and passed in the last 10 years, incredible work rate (he's Ampadu, Tanaka and Stach rolled into one)....One of those players for whom stats don't work.

No player played more minutes for Bielsa, he played over 12k, only 3 others played over 11k and no player made more appearances.

He started 90 odd in a row.

It eventually caught up with him as he was ran into the ground.

But definitely one of our best players of the modern era.
