No. If anything it gives MU a chance to find a bit of cohesion. Due to the strength of the side they are playing you would imagine they will field a strong line-up and it gives the chance for things to click into place.

I think Manure will put more of their energies & emphasise in a Champions League match rather than our game on Sunday.

Travelling, less time to train, fatigue & possible injuries may enhance our chance of a victory.

Don’t know, if they get hammered & a couple of injuries then it should but if they win and stay injury free their confidence will get a boost. I think we need to concentrate on our preparations and not worry about Manure’s.

Europe for most clubs (apart from the top three or four clubs with deep squads) is a massive drain on their Premier League campaign.

I'll probably predict Brighton, Bournemouth, Villa, Palace, Sunderland to lose or draw in this weekend's PL fixtures, maybe Liverpool & Chelsea too.

Bournemouth had 11 points & Sunderland 10 points after seven games last season.

This season Bournemouth are winless on 3 points & Sunderland have acquired 4 points, and this is before their European campaign begins.

Couple more injuries would do nicely.

I reckon Atletico sitting in 2nd place behind Barcelona in La Liga will give Manure the runaround tonight.

Has to be to our advantage and they also play next Wednesday in a winnable CL match away at Como.

Yes plenty of time to recover before Sunday but travelling etc does take it's toll and it means they will have limited time on the training field.

And they got spanked.

Trouble at mill I hear.

Bye bye Carrick, hello Conte by Sunday?

After the supposed fall out after the game I would say that Man U will be harder to play on Sunday as they try to regroup and put out a positive message but we should get at least a point.

Awful to watch the poor buggers loose again - I had to open a bottle to console myself. Moor good news when Yoro was sent off and even better news when that loony went on TV criticising the boss of the recruitment team - it seems that all is not smelling of roses in the dressing room which is good. Watching their last few matches on TV hoping to see them beaten it was obvious that when they are up against it BROOOONO is hardly to be seen - good team man !!

Three away games in a week with Leeds squeezed in the middle of their two matches in Europe. :scar1

One of the points I was making when I started this poll.

No Dave, leave Carrick there until Sunday.

I've always insisted he is overrated.

Shearer made comments last night, "Carrick wasn't backed in the summer", even though Manure spent £173m & brought in loans & freebies too

Shearer is another arsesole, never liked the dirty twat as a footballer.

Cheers Cussie.

I need to be fit to rip into that rat Fernandes on Sunday. :chair:

He was in the referee's face for much of the game at ER last season.
