Definitely, continue with 10 every 7 games then at 35 game stage we’ll be safe on 50 points

Unsure, if Sunderland win then it's not been a good start to the season for me considering we're supposed to be so much better than the Leeds of 25/26. If we beat Sunderland, well then it's a good start.

Happy enough with our start, hopefully we will improve further as the season progresses as in previous seasons under DF

As I mentioned elsewhere, it’s a good start given the games we’ve already got out of the road - Arsenal, Man U, Brentford, Brighton, Newcastle are behind us.

We need to keep picking up points against lesser fancied teams and we’ll be on track for a successful season.

Yes happy with how things are going. Could be better of course but you will always hear that said about most sides. Considering its supposed to be harder in the second season than the first then the start we have made is going in the right direction.

Yes, I’d have bitten your arm off for 7th at this stage but as SH says a defeat at Sunderland & it all changes.

Points yes.

It's a decent total relatively speaking, only 1 more point than Marsch had in our relegation season so can't be complacent.

And as SH said a defeat to Sunderland would change the perception.

Performances do need to improve though

Yes. Always would be nice to have more but for me it is the performances that have shown that we look like a Premier League side. We were a bit up and down last season, some matches we looked good, others awful. Has been a steadier level of performances, competing with everyone we have played. We have shown the ability to get something after going behind and generally look hard to beat. I feel that at some point the goals will come, without us really doing anything different - think we were lamenting the amount of goals we were scoring at several points last season but then over the course of the season it was all okay.

I agree with 4 but don't think Newcastle have looked so good.
Generally though 10 points from 7 extended to the full season would be good progress.

I voted yes.

Ten points out of seven puts us on pace for 54. That would have been good for seventh last year.

That draw away to Brighton is looking better by the week.

At the beginning of the season Rich, I was thinking we could achieve between 55 to 58 points by the end of the season.

Yes for me.
Big improvement at the back, we aren't being totally dominated by anyone including arse where I thought we desevred a point and also dropped 2 on sunday, but we could also have lost to brentford so pretty much evens things up.
As others have said, 7 points every 10 games sits us healthily at the season end.

Once again, the two who are unhappy & the four unsure (apart from one member) don't post up their reasons why they are not content with our current situation.

It must be very difficult being a Leeds fan in some people's minds.

I’m happy but after getting 8 from the first 4 we might have expected a bit more after 7 games . I expected to lose to Arsenal and a draw with Man U wasn’t totally unexpected. Given Palace’s performances against others though and the number of goals they have conceded that was a missed opportunity to get three points.

We've been decent in every away game which is an improvement on last season and we could have easily won at Brighton who are on fire.

At home though the last 2 performances against Palace and Man U have seen us barely create a chance and in the game against
Brentford we really struggled until going to a more attacking formation.

I'd say at home we clearly need more bravery with the team selections whilst away it's carry on as you are with more of the same.

On balance then I voted happy but it definitely could have been a bit better.

Fair post.

I'm quite pleased with the away performances, especially given how poor they were last season.

As you say be nice to see more bravery at home.

Being the new Stoke City is effective an all till it isn't.
