I had my radio with me listenig to the match comentary ( thank god I did, so I dint have to listen to the moans and groans of the Cov fans ) and they actually said, it was the biggest gate for a Cov league match for 30 years......

Thats how much people come out to watch the mighty Leeds !

I salute each and every one of you guys who go week in week out - your fantastic supporters . Just wish my situation was different and I could devote the same time and money. Oh well, maybe in time......certainly hope so !

One fan on their forum reckons:
Sounds like a challenge.
I don't think there's any doubt that we outsung them. Don't know what it sounded like on TV / Radio but in the ground we were easily the loudest. Only heard them after they scored, then only for about 30 seconds. They had to rely on pathetic goal music FFS. What was funniest was when we scored and it became apparent that there were loads of Leeds fans in the Coventry stand. The Police were good enough to let about 150 of them through into our end.

In their programme there's a column by the Editor of the Coventry Telepgraph - it fesses up to being a "die hard Leeds fan"

Aff to the alleged Leeds fan WAG from another thread and Coventry truly is a town full of Leeds fans.
