Get your 10 votes in Ted

Poll finishes tomorrow evening
Hellloooo ! Bloody hell 1st post ! Been meaning to post but been very busy lately, so seen as I'm ill I'm catching up on everything music wise.

Poll votes:

10pts - RADIOHEAD - OK Computer
9pts - MASSIVE ATTACK - Mezzanine
8pts - OASIS - (What's The Story?) Morning Glory
7pts - THE WHITE STRIPES - The White Stripes
6pts - SOCIAL DISTORTION - White Light, White Heat, White Trash
5pts - BOB DYLAN - Time Out Of Mind
4pts - MANIC STREET PREACHERS - Everythying Must Go
3pts - BLUR - Blur
2pts - PJ HARVEY - To Bring You My Love
1pt - ALABAMA 3 - Exile On Coldharbor Lane

I don't have extensive music knowledge from this era(think I was in primary school !) so these are pretty much all retrospective.

Just got the joy formidable album and its pretty good so far. Also picked up Iron and Wine's new one and i've been impressed it's quite a bit different from his others.

listening to Surfer Blood, Tallest Man On Earth, School of Seven Bells, iLiKETRAiNS and I know I'm like a year late but Yeasayer - odd blood is awesome.

Explosions in the sky - new album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is out on April 18th, just got tickets for their manchester show on 17th may !

Hope everyone is well.

The name intrigued me, so I had a listen to this song:

Amazing with one flaw. I don't like the vocals unfortunately. The deep, Ian Curtis-esque voice sounds too forced for my liking, but that's no biggy when the rest is so good.

For that song, 8.5/10.

For the attention of 1964 white

You have not added the points for Super Furry Animals Radiator together, you have listed it twice instead.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Mansun Attack of the Gray Lantern and Massive Attack's 100th Window ended my days listening drowning out the sound of the alarm I set off . I have no luck with alarm systems..

I never fail to enjoy what must be, [well lets see, Attack of the Gray Lantern would be high now, if not top, on my nominations for Best Album, Best Prog album (yes I think so) Best Concept album and best (by a country mile) Brit Pop album (though I hate using this term for it)] one of my all time favorite albums

Seeing as this got lost first time on here - I'll post it again. Contrary to the title, this clip is from Zandaam in 1996..one of my first gigs with them!

GREAT to see Brezhnev has more votes than Zappa, Beastie Boys, Rage against the machine, Blur and Depeche mode in the latest poll!

Mrs R has Adelle's first albumn - "19" which gets the odd outing when we go for our jaunts to Gods Country. Some decent tracks on there so I'm sure I'll pass this on.

We have a new leader in the current poll

(What's The Story) Morning Glory nicks a 2 point lead from Californication with the favourite OK Computer making a late challenge into the No.3 spot

The Bends & Mezzanine enter the top ten

Could easily change at this late stage

New poll commences tomorrow evening but which years will i go for :)

I remember I wanted both cd's of the Wide Open Space single so much that I went all the way to Tunbridge Wells to get hold of a copy of the second one. I don't think my Mum appreciated the 30-odd mile journey that day, snowing and everything!

Please don't do 1970-74. I am just going through them now, and I have narrowed it down to 27 10* albums all by different artists. It may come down to flipping a coin.

You can do 1960-64 if you want, as I don't have anything from before 1966. :)

OK Computer would be making an even stronger run if you'd counted Tedwood's votes!

At 6:21 you had OK Computer on 41, at 6:36 Tedwood gave it 10 points and now it's on..... 41 still
