Can a player 'love the club'?
I was listening to talksport with Goughie and that Adrian Durham, they were having the same old two sided debate. This time Durham was talking about how players have never loved the club. In most cases I agree but I can look at men like Peter Lorimer who has dedicated his life to Leeds United, he definitely loves his club. There are probably many more examples throughout the game, beyond the badge kissers, who have stuck with their club through thick and thin.
Theres a funny thing about Leeds, alot of players develop an affinity to the club that they didnt have for others - look at Matteo and Strachan.
Any more examples?

No, a player can't love a club.

I would be shocked if a player did not love their club.
Especially the orange ones, they're well tasty!

I think in the main they love the money..but maybe im being biassed but when a player comes to Leeds and does really well, the way in which our fans take them to their heart and the adulation that is shown must be very rewarding to the point where it stays with that player long after they've moved on..I dont think this is the case with all clubs and their fans..i think Vinnie still loves us even though HW cast him out after doing a specific job for us..I dont know..perhaps im talking s#ite again?

If you play for Leeds united you better love the club.
No logic or reason can say why this is not so, you just better do it.
We are irresistible.

Vinnie Jones loves us, doesnt he?
It only really bothers me when young players leave for a lesser club.... Like if Max left for Wigan i would be really dirty... He's only 23, and Wigan are tin-pot... he's got another 10 years to earn the big bucks, so why not stick around for a little while and see how we progress?
Just because a player leaves does not mean he doesnt love us..
James Milner being a good example. Richard Naylor. No doubt Jonny, Aidy, Ben Parker, Tom Lees all love the club...
Andy O'Brien & Leigh Bromby claim to be Leeds fans.... Simon and Glynn love the club...
