Leeds United have been drawn at home against Manchester United in the League Cup 3rd round. Fixtures are to be played during the week commencing Monday 19th September, though will not be confirmed until TV games have been decided upon, and I suspect this will be a TV game.
The last time the two sides met was at Old Trafford on 3rd January 2010 in the FA Cup 3rd round when Jermaine Beckford stunned the Old Trafford crowd as Leeds won one nil. After a shaky start to both matches in the competition so Leeds will be hoping to recreate the heroics of that memorable day.
