Is that why Stachan was such a success? And that was with all the money Steve Gibson could throw at him

Feel sorry for Simon :( Just hope we don't get a nob head :| :bear:
Bates loved my free icream idea, he just did not like my ideas about the uber rich supporters paying more.
So I told him to go and bum his mum. He rang me back twice.
WE''RE LEEDS UNITED, WE''LL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Paul Green was warnobs best signing.

Ladies and gents , - Ole Gunner Solskjaer.

Put away all that Scum bias, there's no way we want Warnock, Davies or any of the other merry go round wasters. Can we spot the next Lambert/Mackay/Rogers?.
I agree , think this would be an interesting appointment .

Warnock next manager??

Post by Leeds_Fan_Jed »

Isn't it funny how 1 month ago I said I hope/think grayson will be sacked and warnock made our next manager. Well grayson has been sacked and warnock may be our next manager.

So to the pleasant folk who bombarded me with silly 1-liners and mocking that very suggestion . Well I hope you have all learned your lesson here as you have been proven childish/uknowledgable and now have egg on your face 8-)

You and half the posters on the various Leeds message boards. But you did relay the message extremely well. :)

And, yeah, I'm feeling awfully silly

Would it have been possible to post this in the "Who's Next?" thread that is already discussing whether Warnock will be the next manager?

Just asking.

Bothroyd as an outside bet?
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Did all his coaching badges while at Leeds as a player.

Would love to see him back as a coach, but we need a proven manager.

But not Warnock.

Did well at Watford but not exactly impressed since. Doubt we'll go for him.

Another slackwell scenario about to unfold for sure. Cheapest option, already coaching at the club.
Could actually do worse than Redfearn. All the players like him and he has the kids 2nd in their league.

Why doesn everyone keep saying warnock hates Leeds?

I've never heard him say that, in fact the only things I've heard him say about us as a club have been fairly positive.
Because they are talking out of their backside Shieldsy

He openly said in a interview before we played QPR last season that he has always enjoyed the crack with the Leeds fans & something to the effect that most clubs would love to have the passionate support of the Leeds fans

I've stolen Hibbi's post...this is how i feel...sorry Hibbi !!

Grayson didnt deserve to go, the fact is we are only 3 points of the play offs, and weve spent nothing on a team that is originally from league one!

its going to be a long time till we ever get close to going upto the premier league with bates in charge,

as much as i dislike Neil "Crow Face" Warknock i think hes the only man who could do the job with the tools KB is offering. He knows this league very well and he knows what it takes to get out of this league.

Sorry to see you go Larry all the best.

PS That was the ist time i've left VLR b4 the final whistle...sorry...but i was miffed (and have been unwell for a few weeks)

Is Howard Wilkinson still alive ???????
