Why oh why do people want everyone to be as miserable as sin. Are we 4 points of the play off places - yes. Do we still have decent players - yes. Could the right manager get more out of what we've got - yes, otherwise we should not have sacked Grayson. Is the future something to look forward to - yes. I for one will continue to dream because football is about dreams. A win 'v' Donny and everyone will be back on here congratulating themselves on sacking Grayson. That's football and football fans. Fickle as hell.

Oh yes, those "decent players" got totally outclassed by players from a team routed to the foot of the division, could only struggle against a Brighton team at ER and then lost, went 1 up against Brum only to be hammered 4-1 once again at home. However, I must admit they did manage a good win against Bristol City - I mean to beat a team of 9 men is incredible.

Not miserable, just realistic

We haven't beaten 11 men since the 3rd December, our luck has now run out. We have the same problems defensively, plus the additional problem we cannot score more goals than we concede as we often did last season. Mindst we no longer have Max, Jonny & a fit & able Luci knocking em in anymore

I accepted mid-table last summer. One thing i find unacceptable are the continuous atrocious performances !

ANY manager, including Redfearn, has to deal with the three years of rubbish coaching, he inherits. Snodin and Miller totally destroyed any "work ethic" in our players' mindset.
The players have all commented about how hard training is since Redfearn took over.
It's going to take more than a few weeks to get the "training is a lark" mentality replaced by "training is hard and ESSENTIAL"...

Hard training = tired bodies = 2 injury time defeats.

Seems in stark contrast to the side who were recently scoring goals in injury time.

6 Points off the last playoff place, currently occupied by Reading, however, they are joint on points with Brum. Both of who have played a game less than us, which with the form they are on, will probably win. Making the Gap 9 Points.

Promotion a No Go for 2 reasons. 1. We are Shite, 2. Hypothetically, say we got promoted, I for one would not like to see these performances at the top table. Ken wouldnt invest in the team, we'd be stuck with the same fodder we've got now, end result : more embarrasing defeats than what we are seeing now...

Luckily we are 20 points above Coventry who beat us tonight, because on current form we are relegation fodder.

Something needs to change, unfortunately, its right at the top, so I dont hold my breath anything is going to happen anytime soon.
