Was the soup good despite his absence?
I unfortunately didn't try it - i guess i didn't trust the quality without him being around. The place is apparently a popular stop for college students & younger people like myself. Maybe the next time I'm in the area I'll be brave enough to give it a shot!

Had to google "soup nazi". No wonder people are so dumbed down these days, with the likes of Sienfield and Frasier etc - as so called "entertainment" on tv. FFS!
haha yup, that's American entertainment for you... for better or for worse...

Listen again to Weller's lyrics mate. There is a MASSIVE difference! He sang "The public wants what the public gets" - not the other way around. A reference to the media "dumbing down" of the public, even back then.

He foresaw BGT and such crap, all those years ago.

the soup nazi was a noteworthy character from a famous american sitcom from the 1990s called "seinfeld". the show itself was kinda dopey, but the "soup nazi" character has always been my favorite...

Hello newbies from another fairly new newbie, been on here a bit now and it seems a great spot some very interesting characters. Not much football to talk about these days, just rumor after rumor but hell there's always fish, motorbikes and the lyrics of Paul Weller........ posh mod w**ker , oh and the fish in the picture a few posts back is a discus if I'm not mistaken. I used to have tropical fish too and a few bikes, mind you dont know feck all about soup.

No need to foresee it, it already existed in the likes of New Faces etc. It's not really a new phenomenon...

Apparently you can get a light bulb in your mouth but not back out. Never fancied trying it.
