Snoddy will sit on the bench for most of next season at Carrow Road. He only puts in around 7 really good games a season.
I maybe wrong but i think Luke Varney who has played in the Prem is Snoddy's replacement
I think deep down we all knew this day was coming........you could tell from he's comments at the end of the season.
I am gutted, cos despite what some may say now, he was one of our best players for sure, you can tell that by NW's disappointment in hes comments on O/S. He said he has never tried so hard to keep a player......that tells you how highly he rated Snoddy.
Its just galling that we are losing so many key players to what is a very average and much smaller club in Norwich, yes they are in the prem and yes they deserve to be but they are no Leeds United and never will be !
Just wish this due diligence process hadnt taken so long......I feel had it been wrapped up sooner, NW could have done more in transfer market to convince Snoddy to stay, as it is, I wouldnt necesarrily see signings of Varney/Gray/Austin etc etc as a real demonstration of new ambition at Elland Road.
Oh well, good luck Snoddy, but something tells me you will regret this son !! I so hope we are swapping places with Norwich next season ! Then Howson, Johnson and Snoddy can fcuk off and languish in the championship !!!
The simple fact of the matter is that, on premiership income, they can pay more.
He wants away, what can you do.
If he performed at 100% for 46 games a season then it'ld be a real loss. But for someone wh is so inconsistent, it'ld be much better to get someone who can put in 80% or more week in week out. Who wants to stay and wants to play.
So a wage raise, captaincy, the chance to become a leeds legend THEN have his wages probably increased again...

What we must do now is keep Ross......just cant afford to lose him as well, that would be devastating to lose what I deem to be the best two attacking options in the squad.
it's replacing them that matters, we didn't replace JB, we didn't replace Maxi, we didn't replace BJ and Howson...I'm not even sure we replaced Kilkenny. (and replaced means with equivalent talent or potential)..my guess is Varney replaces Snodgrass and that's a down grade. I have no doubt of that. Pearce looks an upgrade on O'Dea. Green maybe an upgrade on Killa but he's not in Howson's class. Kenny and Lonners is a straight swap. Austin looks a clear upgrade on Brown but we'd hit rock bottom at DMF anyway.
now NW lets see some young players with ability signed with the proceeds otherwise I'm gonna go off you real quick
