u21 vs wigan

Post by Kepler »

Game is live on LUTV

half time now, and Leeds are infront 2-0 after goals from Trialist center forward and Poleon

Stand out players so far are Thompson, Lenigan and Poleon. Poleon's goal is probably the best we are going to see from a leeds player this year.
Generaly the whole team have been really good and it is looking like this u21 team will be a force this year. Thompson and Lenighan ar bossing the midfield. The trialist CF is winning all balls in the air, and Poleon scares the s**t out off wigan. Forget all the talk about not having pacy players on the bench, who can come in and change a game. NW just needs to give this lad a chance.

Looking forvard to the 2. half, and hopefully we get to see Lewis Walters in the 2. half

3-1 now.

Wigan got one back, but Thompson scored a great goal from 20 yards

3-1 win for Leeds u21

A good game from the whole team, but Poleon, Lenighan and the trialist CF where really good, and Zac Thompson was just brilliant today.

Been on Twitter though that Ramon has done his Anterior Cruciate. Gutted for him if it's true.

Bad for him as a person, awful for us as a club - that means he's on the wages bill for probably a year with no prospect of getting rid.

Wonder if bates has kept up with the insurance premiums?

Somma, kins, and bromby - I wonder how much money they have all cost us since Injury.
Not nice for ramon as he looked pretty injury resilient to me. Would still of been worth a shot in the hole IMO.
WE''RE LEEDS UNITED, WE''LL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Paul Green was warnobs best signing.

Only saw 1st ½, but LUTV coverage was excellent.
Agree with Kep on Poleon's goal - was a beauty, after a great run and cross from Lenighan. Turned the defender, spun and blasted home from just outside the "D".
Love to see Si Lenighan and the Beast together in our 1st team CM sometime - awesome player young Lenighan
Ramon seemed to snag his studs in the turf, going forward and went down like a sack of tatties. Stretchered off in obvious pain. :(

A good new prospect (for me) is striker Poloskei. Burly C.Forward, who won everything in the air and scored a bullet of a header for our 1st goal. Also Antelmi always looked dangerous going forward.

More live Development Team games coming up on LUTV soon. Can't wait!

Depends on the insurance cos it might even be that the insurance pays all or most of the wages. In fact Nunez getting injured could actually save the club money if the insurance company was paying his wages instead of us.

I know he hasn't been brilliant for us, but don't you think that's a bit harsh?

All joking aside I wish him all the best - been one of the more honest broker at ER, even if he never fulfilled his promise.
