I could see the team really pulling together and getting a win out of this one, then getting stuffed in the next league match.

What a win !! This has to be one of the best performances I have seen from a LUFC side for a long long time !!

EHD outstanding - simply majestic !!
And Austin, what a powerhouse. And the two central defenders - IMMENSE !

Some members have criticised NW and he's style of football non stop but tonight we have been simply fantastic in not only matching but surpassing a premier team who were not that far off full strength come the end !

So proud of em tonight :-)
LEEDS AND FOREVER PROUD TO BE !!

Riot will be well pi55ed off with that win for Warnock's team. He will just have to fall back on how Larry would have won 3-0

Immense result and performance. Hopefully, we kick on from this where it matters - in the league!

I just wonder so much why cant the players just show this every game. They run more in these games, they fight harder, they play overall much better in these cup games vs top prem teams. Transfer some of this to our league games and we'll destroy the other teams.
