It seems to me that a retweet of this statement indicates two things.

A) The investors are aware that Leeds fans are frustrated with the poor form, lack of funds and overall length of time the takeover has taken.
B) The takeover is all but done but they cannot officially announce it until it actually goes through. I'm personally pretty damn positive about this but can't wait to be brought back down to reality. Part of the parcel of being a Leeds fan.

As has been said I'm sure, GFH clearly dont have substantial funds otherwhise the deal would have been done by now. Also they have zero track record in running a sports business and so I'm not sure that I would want them 'going it alone' initilly.

If there are other interested parties who have enought backing not to 'phase' a takeover and have experience in sports teams then I would be very keen for them to step up any efforts to conclude a deal.

The grass isn't always greener, I am yet to be convinced. The anyone But Bates argument doesn't hold much with me.

I believe we'll be no better off as long as bates is still at the club. The infighting will continue, the divide will remain and fans still won't return while they feel he's syphoning off money, which he will inevitably do if he's kept on.

That link makes horrendously depressing reading, and even more alarm bells start ringing when you consider if that article is true, ken bates truly fucked GFHC at the negotiating table. How much extra are they having to pay for f**k all benefit? What does ken bates deserve if GFH get the club promoted? Absolutely f**k all because he failed to do it himself.

That article can safely be ignored.

1) It's by Duncan Castles who is even less reliable than KBEES

2) He refers to other potential bidders having difficulty in formulating a bid because of the exclusivity deal with GFH - which expired many months ago.

Its his normal bollocks, just desperate to keep his name in print.
