Lees and Pearce in the centre of defence is still a formidable force. Expect Lees to take some of what he's learnt from Tate into the game with him.

Anyway, Torres and any other of their fit centre forwards will be knackered and jetlagged and it looks like Sturridge is out injured. Terry is out injured.

Hall can't play as he is cup tied.

We will look a little thinner, but I still expect us to pull out all the stops for this one. I expect a performance like we did against Everton, except their players will likely tire before ours which will make for an easier last 10 minutes

Looks like White could get a run out at LW, altough I expect Warnock to go with Tonge on the left, and brown in the center. White should be hungry for games after beeing out for the last few games

I for one hopes Brown doesn't play because he will be pumped up for it in all the wrong ways and players in the prem will have him looking a fool leaving legs in here and there and will get himself sent off within 45 mins and that will leave us wide open :(

If the match was at Chelsea, 4-1 to the Pensioners. But since it's at ER, and probably the largest crowd of the season... 3-2, with a smash and grab goal well into Fergie-time. Chelsea win either way. But Becchio will bounce back with two likely candidates for goal of the year. A 75 yard header that knocks the goal off it's pegs, and a equally stunning 1 yard effort that nearly decapitates Petr Cech. And at halftime, a replica scoreboard from 1984 will be brought into the center circle and one lucky fan will get a cricket bat with Ken Bates' picture on it, and 5 minutes to destroy it. All in all, should be an interesting match.

Although I think we'll run out 2-0 or 2-1 winners. Chelsea are in an extremely vulnerable position.

We can still put out a first side imo. Yes, we lose Tate and Hall, but really Pearce is more than a decent replacement at CB.

I hope we give them a good showing. I just somehow have the feeling, we maybe on the end of a Chelsea side that want to annialate us. If they put out their first eleven, I don't see us winning.

With everything else you guys are condsidering, I will take side and we will win 2-1!

They've got their ready made excuses though if they lose..."We were Jet-lagged, tired, etc"

And if they win? "Ha we had a reserve (Note: They will classify a reserve team as a team with 1 or 2 players in it who aren't regular) team out and still beat you!"

I just hope it's a good game. The 1970's FA Cup game between us is still in the top 5 biggest british audience. I doubt that will be the case tomorrow night, but I hope that we can send out the message again to all the Prem clubs, that Leeds is still here and waiting to return.

I dreamed that I woke up Thursday morning (my time) to read that we'd lost 9-0.

Funny you should say that, I dreamt last night that we won a league game by the same scoreline. I was then disappointed to find out that we'd been outdone by Blackpool, who had won their game 10-0.
