What we deserved in the end.

Most of the game, even when we were 2-1/3-1 down, we were still playing some decent football. I have absolutely no idea why we aren't playing this short passing, keeping possession type of play in the league. It is beautiful to watch and it clearly works for us. It just goes to show that these group of players are more than good enough for the Championship.

Stating the obvious, but Pelts needs to go. Seriously. His positioning screws up the whole back line.

Class in the end did us. It was always going to be the result, but that's another distraction out of the way and hopefully we continue up the ladder in the league.

Get realistic.

Our entire team cost less than Chelsea's third choice right back.

We did fine till we ran out of steam. If their equaliser hadn't gone under Ashdown's hand immediately after half time they would probably still have won, but not by such a silly scoreline.

Tonight doesn't matter, the next few League games do.

Onwards and upwards!

Totally agree , there is no substitute for quality and class and that was the difference... Lads tried hard but lets be serious.... big gap from us and Chelsea.
The new owners from the stand would of been thinking the same , spill the cash in January for players or we will continue to just be an average Championship side . Thomas is all class and reminds me of Gradel , how Peltier remains in this side is amazing (let alone captain) .

Not really, they were on a different level in second half. Effective as fook, and just shows we still got a long long long way to go before we'll be able to have a proper go in the Prem.

I agree about the style of play short passes , wonderful to watch , but when you say players more than good enough for this League (not all of them ) .... you have to remember alot of our players were playing on adrenalin tonight playing against the Champions League Champions (massive for them Byram, Lees , to name a few ) .
1st half was awesome , but couldn't keep that intensity in the 2nd half , we just haven't got enough class coming of the bench... hope that hasn't killed us for the weekend vs Boro...

Thing is with Leeds, there is always a way down. History has told us that there is always a way down, and we seem pretty good at finding that way recently.
