The Visual/Music Discussion Thread

Sofa, '64,
Only have one Lizzy albumn - Bad Reputation which still stands up today IM0. Has some great tunes and playing on there, - Dancing in the Moonlight is the best known track, but for me the final 2 tracks "That womans gonna Break your Heart" and "Dear Lord" are killers.

[Telepres]

The tune is Mongoloid, from Devo Next please?

This tune is a dance track which openly samples other music. You'll reveal next that they nicked Nina Simone's vocals :-o

I own nothing, but still looking forward to the show this coming august

'Love It To Death' and 'Muscle Of Love' both have their moments, but the three you mention are the best, in my opinion. Alice was a lot of fun in those days. Remember the fold-out desk design on 'School's Out' with the record wrapped in a pair of paper panties? Or the great flexi single of 'Slick Black Limousine' they gave away free with NME? Or the weird, bulky cardboard carton that housed 'Muscle Of Love'? He fired the band after that one and his music never really grabbed me again, although I bought the first two solo LPs out of loyalty (and even made the mistake of buying the band's non-Alice stinker as the Billion Dollar Babies - probably the worst record I ever bought!).

Pretty much the same but do like, From The Inside, too

How come they weren't on your top ten tunes on the other thread then? FIBBER! :nahnah:

Need to merge threads soon...or make a Music section on here. Which was why everyone left the dark side.
