I do think it would be a good idea to have this kind of option on a voting form. However you can essentially do this by 'spoiling' your form already, you just fill all your information out but make sure you don't make it clear who you want or mark it incorrectly and it gets marked down as an 'apathetic' vote or something?mav wrote:I despair at the attitudes of some here.
not voting shows one thing, apathy.
Yes I think we should have a "brewsters millions" option when voting (None of the above) to show it is apathy with the system rather than plain laziness.
If you don't vote, IMHO you are part of the problem.

But.... That's the problem labour are becoming exactly the same....MOTliam wrote:

TBH Most of the parties don't agree with what I believe and I find it quite hard to vote for any of them, especially since the last time when a party broke their promise that made the majority of the student population vote for them and without it they wouldn't have got in. yes the scumbag Lib Dems, who will never get in again following the lies that they pledged. Arseholes.
I do hope UKIP don't get in but that is just my opinion and everyone is allowed their democratic right as is what happens in the UK for good reason. I'll be voting Labour, as I hate the Tories and they do nothing for my extended family or me...They're still all about the rich sticking together no matter how much they talk about the 'big society'. twats.

I do sometimes think it would be better to start my own party and see who followed. It wouldn't work though. It would take some kind of ridiculous upheaval to change the status quo. No-one will have their opinion truly represented which is obviously shite. Just need to go with what matches the closest for me. If there is something that glaringly doesn't fit with what I believe in then I wouldn't vote for them.Wolfetoneleeds wrote: But.... That's the problem labour are becoming exactly the same....
That is why I don't vote..
So for mav to write what he is. Is rubbish!!

Agghhh leeds are depressing the s**t out of me lately!!MOTliam wrote:

P.s. It seems all I do on this forum is not talk about Leeds United......

UKip openly state they dont dig on eliteness.MOTliam wrote:as I hate the Tories and they do nothing for my extended family or me...They're still all about the rich sticking together no matter how much they talk about the 'big society'. twats.

A right wingers blog I read stated UKip are a sfaety valve for the liberals with refards to immigration.Armleywhite wrote:UKIP have a decent policy on the immigration issue. whilst I have no problem with allowing immigrants to come to the UK for legitimate reasons I do have an issue with the fact that successive govmnts have no idea of the scale if illegal entries into the UK.
However, I have always maintained that EVERY party is exactly the same as each other and I have used the phrase "same face, different Mask" many times. Can't remember where Ifirst heard it, but it fits mainstream politics perfectly.
UKIP, it appears is no different. Their policy on the Zionist regime in Palestine / Israel reads as if written by the Zionists themselves. UKIP is not the answer imo. They have 1 policy that challenges the other two, but thats it.

I'll vote UKip as I strongly believe immigration will destroy Europe.

Not really no as it will be too easy to beat me with the "right wing" stick, hence making it easier to describe UKip as righty. So I'd rather keep it to my self mate.Armleywhite wrote: Care to ellaborate?
Wasn't looking to beat anyone with any stick! Still, I respect your right to silenceEmsley wrote:
