If we appoint the likes of Dowie or similar as our next manager i would seriously comtemplate not renewing my season-ticket. So important our next managerial appointment is the correct one !

If there is still uncertainty over ownership and finances, I can't see how we're going to attract any quality in terms of managers or players.

I've been out of picture for a while (due to work) so haven't kept up-to-date, but I presume everything is still up in the air regarding GFH and whether they are selling or not?

I'm sure GFHC will be reassessing their entire policy towards Leeds United now, having read that, Leon!

Dowie and I would seriously consider severing my ties with Leeds. He is a prat of the highest order. I cannot believe anyone ever took him seriously as a player, manager or "pundit"

Adkins aside, who is qualified to lead the club as manager? I can't really come up with a name at this point, short of someone the likes of Mourinho or a similar world-class name. I don't think I'm overstating things either. Just hope GHF doesn't pick a retread like Dowie, etc......... I don't envy their position in all this.

I listened to him after the Norn Ireland game tonight and he just talks the biggest load of b@lls. Ok we all know that none of us would seriously stop supporting the club, but such an appointment would show a serious lack of ambition.

I just wish that we would give up on journeymen managers - and players - and inject qualities to get us fans excited!

Sh*te player, sh*te manager, sh*te pundit, Dowie should not get anywhere the manager's office in ER. Unless he's cleaning it!! The appointment of someone of his ilk would send out all the wrong signals to fans, players we might fancy and the footballing world at large; "Leeds United, happy to drift in the Championship (if we're lucky) for years to come. Leave your ambitions at the door, please"

Gunnar Halle's name popped up on twitter yesterday as a dark horse candidate, another who is apparently doing good things in Norwegian football. Maybe MeeTa can give us some info??

White hot news this morning said that Colin had had words with Adkins over the weekend and recommended he took the Leeds job........... shortly after he signed for Reading
