Leeds Vs Wednesday

Post by herefordbornleedsboy »

Couldn't see a match day thread for this so thought id set it up....
Interesting side selection today.
Kenny, Byram, Pearce, Austin, Warnock, Drury, Norris, Green, Varney, McCormack, Morison, be interesting to see how that side will line up... two left backs in the side? Or can Warnock play at CB?

Guess that would make sense than :)
Hoping for a win today... my gut feeling says we can do it with the feel good factor surrounding the new manager... 2-1 Leeds

Interesting to see Drury get a game...like to see the top two play off each other but no wingers or overlapping full backs by the looks of it....I think he's just looking to see what he has and I'd expect a full bevy of substitutes ... hoping for a win would settle for a draw

Woo. Wonder if we will get a Colin like interview with B McD saying how the first half was all Redfearn's fault but then he went in with words of wisdom at half time and it was all thanks to him that we won....

Somehow, I doubt it.

I think we have a manager who regards honesty as important.

Boo. Will miss smarmy W*nker's interviews where he blows his own trumpet and blames everyone else apart from his wonderful signings.

I'm sure that you can find a recording of one to play after every game.

Wouldn't be surprised to find the ol' foghorn NW claiming credit for Leeds's win today. I left them with a wonderful squad etc etc.

Just back in jeeesus what a relief....first half awful, then some inspired substitutions...Diouf completely altered the course of the game, shameful cheering when Morison was subbed, hanging on at the end but two well taken goals by Varney, major surgery once again needed in the summer,

Soooooo good to see a manager who can see what is happening in the game and react accordingly.

Good start Mr Brian!

Just back from what was quite a decent game, we had most of the play in the first half but were totally ineffective up front. Second half a lot better BUT once we went ahead we just kept inviting them on to us as if we had a death wish instead of going for the jugular, making for very nervous watching ! Should be ok next season if we bring in 8 or 9 good players.
