Will be interesting which decisions McD makes for Saturday's team selection v Burnley

According to BM young Sam is close to returning

Peltier maybe available for selection

Warnock is suspended which gives an opportunity for either White or Drury

White was on the bench at Reading last night so could be favourite to start even though Drury is the better defender

I personally would play McCormack upfront with Varney & bring in the talented Mowatt to give us more creativity in midfield

McCormack is not a midfielder, he is a striker & its time for him to stand up for the team & play the role we originally signed him for !

Drury carrying a knock apparently, so I expect White to come in. Would be nice for Sam to make the bench at least, but even better to bring him in if he's ready. Hope Peltier's not out too long though, as he's been solid this season so far.

I like the idea of McCormack up front again, we need him further up the pitch imo. Even if we went for the 'christmas tree' formation with Hunt and Varney behind him we'd get the industry and tracking back from them, with Ross hanging further up to apply a finish or two.

Not seen Mowatt, but I know you rate him very highly. Hopefully he'll play vs. Newcastle (which I got my ticket for this morning ).

Still early days, but I think we do need a bit of a re-shuffle of the forwards to try get a bit more out of them.

Can't see many changes in the team TBH.
Egg has stumbled across a team he knows is hard to beat.
His attacking options are a pile of s**t though.
When you really look at it...

Varney has never once done a "20" a season.
Douch has never been a constant goal threat.
Ross is a goal threat but not a 20 a season, plus we know he is more of a creative middy now.
Hunt isnt exactly known for it.
Matt smith is far from known from.
And polean is still a baby.

No goal threat = no goals.
Unless you want to wait a few seasons hoping polean and smith get it together.

Aidy and Sam likely to start tomorrow according to McDermott in his press conference this morning. Says we'll play 'a certain way' and if it doesn't work then will look further at loan signings...

5 at the back with White and Byram as wing backs? I don't know who you'd lose from somewhere else on the pitch, maybe one of Varney/Hunt and play McCormack higher up maybe?
