Understand where you are coming from Joe as i spend a fortune on LUFC, monies i could put to better use if truth be known. Hearing rumours today that QPR away tickets could cost us Leeds fans £55, if that is the case there is no way i'm forking out a ton for a ticket/travel expenses/etc to watch this shower of sh**e performing like Christmas Puddings although come March time Easter Bunnies may be a better description

I'm dreading Rochdale

Do you know what Joe, I have to pick and choose what games I can go to due to finances. If I could afford it I would go to every home game. I love the match day experience. Walking into Elland Road, breathing in the atmosphere, joining in with MOT, you just can't beat it. I can't imagine wanting to go to the likes of Man City like you do with your daughter (each to their own) and coming on this Leeds forum and posting up links to Man City's superstore and what offers they do for their fans!!! Rather weird in my opinion. I support Leeds and Leeds alone, drivel it may be!! :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

VERY well said, BB  :clap2: People moaning on here about the costs  It's about the footy? - AndyCA flew his family over from LA for this game. His 4 year old's 1st ER experience. At least the lad knows "This is what it means to be Leeds"
We all go to what we can afford, for the match day experience. I'm glad you enjoyed YOUR day, BB  .

Yet another game failed through lack of movement, pace, and basic skill on the ball. Mowatt, Byram & Pugh had brief good spells, but other than that I can't think of players that you could say have had a good game. Austin is leaning more on the side of a liability in my opinion, with performances such as today. Ambles around opposition players who have the ball, with no real purpose, gets caught in possession, and too many of his efforts of getting it back consist purely of chasing after and clattering the player with the ball. His shooting (which he persists in) has had enough mentions already. He's probably no worse than any other player in this respect, but any other player is not the captain
The midfield area gives me most concern. I read after the Forest game that they were quick to close down the ball, not give us space. The same could be said of Burnley, QPR, even Yeovil - in fact pretty much every team I've seen us play with exception of the especially woeful Birmingham - so are these teams all really that good or is the problem a bit closer to home? We've certainly got no pace in midfield and not much direction either; Mowatt and Murphy both decent passers of the ball but I don't ever see them charging into space or closing down the opposition. Austin was simply awful today, lumbering around the pitch conceding possession and free kicks. We can't afford to carry players in any position, let alone in the heart of midfield - or the 'captain'!
Not too many positives from today apart from young Sam who seems to be finding some of the form we all witnessed last season aithough you'd struggle to pick a man of the match today.
e didn't loose the game because of the ref but he was awful, failed to spot a few blatant throws our way, a corner, numerous pushed and nudges and the best of all failed to see Ross get deliberately blocked, fell for the defender play acting an injury because he knew he had committed a blatant foul and then the two Rovers players who were being treated were not told to leave the pitch after receiving their treatment! USELESS!
And to balance things he failed to give Blackburn a blatant penalty right after that incident because he bottled it as the crowd were giving him stick.
All in all we got what we deserved. Thank you LUFC players for giving us Leeds fans an absymal Christmas, now go pick up your extortionate salaries & choke on them as far as i'm concerned :x

Kenny 5 - carrying an injury picked up from the Forest game....obviously BM has no faith in young Cairns
Byram 6 - improving & my MOTM
Lees 5 - good first half
Zaluikas 6 - his poorest game in a white shirt even though he was our best CB
Pearce 3 - not good
Pugh 6 - some good runs/crosses down the left flank
Austin 3 - liability
Murphy 5- last ditch tackle to keep score down to 2 in six yard box, apart from that Luke struggled, shouldnt have been subbed
Mowatt 6 - always available & looking for space, hit the bar when it was easier to score
Smith 4 - apart from his gifted goal not at the races
McCormack 3 - the old Ross form has returned in the last five games i see

Subs

Ariyibi - Bambi on ice
Poleon 2 - waste of space....loan period imminent
Brown - a yellow card only takes a minute

We have every right to complain about costs when we are consistently served up dire, drab, drivel some of our fans may call football. I've supported my beloved Leeds all over the country for over fifty years...i expect to be entertained, you'd witnessed more excitement in a morgue  how these so called footballers can accept their 8k/15k weekly salaries without any guilt is beyond me :x

comes with supporting LUFC high costs, being to more games for what ever reason!

BM plays to the squads strengths, he loves wingers he ain't got any wingers! Look at his old Reading team!

He can't play football to a system where things don't fit!

we only seem to have Ross and Matt up top so hoofball it is!

He has Jan for the owners to put up or shut up for me! I and we are doing our bit for attendance let's be patient and see what they do!

bit concerned with Murphy/Austin million pound man looks very average!
Austin is a liability at times rash needless challenges, lack of composure!? captain now not sure!

Can't understand Mowatt / Byrom / Dawson / Lees some play week in week out now he is saying they are tired??? These are kids and can't play week in week out! Jees!

maybe with wingers and more outlets Austin and murph play better???

Smith gets chances and does not always take them, not great in air in opposition half?

sorry rant over!

Drs.Dad wrote: Today, I saw a ref who allowed TWO players who had required on field treatment to stay on the pitch instead of walking to the sidelines as they are REQUIRED to by the laws of the game. I saw a ref who watched a player kick the ball up onto his outstretched hand and let it go. I saw a ref who saw a player blatantly push Smith to the floor and let it go. These are only three of the decisions he got wrong today, there were many other examples, but I don't wish to appear picky!

:(
You also saw a ref not send of Pugh and Murphy when both should have been sent off

Very disappointing, can't even win at home. Sounds like New Year's hangover for quite a few of our players.

McDermott & his players should offer the fans who attended the last four games an apology

1st half we were shocking, gave them too much space,2nd half better, but all in all an awful performce to say the least, even worse than the Barnsley game I would say,7 points dropped in last 3 home games, came back well against Watford sould have won, should have beaten a poor barnsley side who will go down, and a weakened Blackburn team who had a few players out were there for the taking
seriously needs sorting out or else mid to lower mid table finish will be our fate at the end of the season im afraid
im 100% leeds and it hurts like hell to see us struggling against teams who we should beat on paper, but just because we are leeds doesn't give us the god given right to win every week against these teams,
all im asking for is 100% effort and commitment to the cause, and some pride in wearing the famous white shirt,
