Scum v Norwich this Saturday
Scum have no chance of qualifying for the Champions League
Norwich are two points off the bottom three !
So who do you want to win ?

^^^^^^^^^ Absolutely. I can't believe that a single Leeds supporter anywhere could want Scum to win for a millisecond. Ridiculous concept and, IMO, threadHarryofOz wrote:Why would anyone want Manchester United to win?

Context my friend, context. Nobody wants Scum to win, but some people would prefer the other team to lose more than they care about Scum losing. E.g. this season I would rather Chelsea lose when playing Scum due to their arrogant players, manager and fans thinking they had it wrapped up, and I had to listen to them, so a Scum win would help silence those for me. Plus Scum have had a terrible season thankfully, and one win against lowly Norwich isn't going to do anything for them.Guildford White wrote:

Norwich to lose for me.
And if Scum play Galatasaray....well...can both teams lose?

My dad's answer to that one is that there's a mass brawl on the pitch which throws the game into disrepute and warranting unprecedented bans...theleedsmango wrote:And if Scum play Galatasaray....well...can both teams lose?
Can see Scum turning it on just to spite Moyes tbh, though not massively bothered about the result... Chelsea v Liverpool is a big one. Hate them both, but want a Chelsea win just to keep the title race closer. Maybe a draw would work to that effect too.

Personally - im looking for a norwich loss. I work with a fair amount of norwich fans, i know norwich fan outside of work too.... every single one gave me a hard time when leeds were relagated, and all made jokey comments when they bought our players - about us being a feeder club etc... (the man u fans in my life didnt actually take the piss, and were alittle more sympathetic). Now man U cant qualify for the champs league - i want nowich to get smashed then i want to flood the inbox of every fan who took the piss with sweet sweet retribution.

Revenge would be sweet Brader
Started the thread to test the resolve of so many of our fans who have said to me they would love to see Norwich relegated this season
I have to say I doubt we'll see the likes of Snoddy, Howson, Johnson & Becchio v us in the champs next season as the Canaries will probably offload them to teams in the bottom of the prem anyway !

With their remaining fixtures, Norwich are a certainty to be relegated, regardless of Saturday.
I see no valid reason for any Leeds fan to want The Pride of Surbiton to win.
Ever.

Snoddy will certainly be in the Prem next year - I can see Lambert taking him to Villa. Howson and Johnson might get snapped up by Leicester or Burnley, but I don't think they've done enough to warrant existing Prem managers to look into them.1964white wrote:I have to say I doubt we'll see the likes of Snoddy, Howson, Johnson & Becchio v us in the champs next season as the Canaries will probably offload them to teams in the bottom of the prem anyway !
Becchio will probably stay at Norwich though, and I'm sure he'll do well once he gets some games.

Salaries are key Genghers, players certainly won't accept a drop in earnings. Really depends if Delia & co can afford to keep them

Personally I don't know why there is this hatred toward Norwich, they went up playing great football, which was applauded by a few on here. Bates didnt want to reward some of our players with new/improved contracts, so they moved on, Norwich saw the potential in these players their gain our loss, not their fault but ours, and lets not forget each one of the four players that left had more than their fair share of critics on here and elsewhere.
Scum to lose every time, especially now with that smug nob in temporary charge.

Though the point some of us are making is that sometimes you just want a team to lose because you get abuse from their fans. No Scum fan has pointed out a Leeds score to me this season, and Liverpool fans are too excited to notice. Yet a few Norwich fans still take delight in claiming they are a bigger club. I've nowt against Norwich, the club or it's players. But when Norwich fans mock Leeds United for being their feeder club...well then it'd be nice to see them back down with us.
That and I find no pleasure anymore this season in mocking Scum defeats. They are bang average. Wanting them to lose every game is giving them more credit that they deserve.

Re: Scum v Norwich this Saturday
i expect snoddy to go to another prem club easily - the other ex leeds boys im not sure about - i think norwich have bigger and better players that would be shipped out first before them..... and they will be looking to hold on to as many as possible.
RE: above post - I dont have a hatred for norwich - more as a leeds fan - norwich fans took every availible moment to laugh and take a swipe at our bad fortunes. Im looking at this more as a personal moment of karma.
