Cellino also says he hasn't decided on McDermott's position and hasn't spoken to other coaches about the job at #lufc.

TOMA becomes TO again. This time it's Massimo Cellino taking the wheel to hopefully steer us to the PL once again.

He's a man with money and a mixed reputation in and out of the world of football. This new era could go either way...

I'd be interested to see what people think will be the outcome of his ownership of the club. Will it be time to celebrate? Time to sigh in frustration? Time to wish we'd never heard his name?

Here's my prediction list:

1. MacDermott will not be our manager in August.
2. Elland Road will be owned by Eleonora Sports, not LUFC. This guves him different selling options if/when he decides to move on.
3. Thorpe Arch may be used in the same manner.
4. We're going to see an influx of players from Italy and maybe an Italian manager who looks to swamp the opposition with attacking tactics. Watch for the wing back to feature heavily.
5. We will be promoted within 3 seasons.
6. We will end up plateauing (Is that even a word?) as a mid-table PL club.

What I would like to see:

1. Seigfried Farnon buys out the remaining 25% of the club and succeeds in tempering Celino's wilder side, allowing us a touch of stability. He will then open a horse clinic in the East Stand concourse.
2. More exciting football and a couple of marquee signings will start bringing the crowds back.
3. GFH go bust and end up filling bags of sand for their new occupation.

What I'm worried about:

1. LUFC become an untouchable team for managers looking for a career.
2. We become a club massively underrepresented by home-grown players.
3. Il Presidente takes offense at something someone says and walks.

I would love to share your dream but it's all a dream

not too surprised regarding TA it's money that can be saved but i wonder how much will be saved by letting the legends go? Would be interesting to find out. That's if it happens.

Have no idea why Lorimer and Matteo were there. At least Eddie actually did work with the matchday commentary. Hope he is still around next season.

yet they didn't have a clue when GFH took over
