Just to give you an indication of the age of some of our squad as oppose to the old fogies you enjoyed watching

Marco Silvestri - age 24
Sam Byram - age 21
Charlie Taylor - age 21
Lewis Cook - age 18
Tom Adeyemi - age 23
Kalvin Phillips - age 19
Alex Mowatt - age 20
Jordan Botaka - age 22
Stuart Dallas - age 24
Liam Cooper - age 24
Chris Wood - age 23
Lee Erwin - age 21
Maybe they are younger but what I witnessed on Saturday they were no better.

If look around quite a few players have come from non league football and played in higher than the championship just look at leicesters Jamie vardy he has just had a England call up plus many more in fact to many to mention.

You shouldn't judge us on one game EY, we are tons better than before Cellino came in, we've become a hard team to beat as oppose to McDermott's team which included McCormack, Smith, Pearce, Warnock, Austin, Tonge & the rest who would have lost that game on Saturday

Well my first trip to ER this season didn't go quite as I'd hoped, but on the basis of how we played in the first half a point was very welcome!

I think it's a bit harsh to call Bamba's slip a 'mistake'. As pointed out in the other thread, the pitch in parts looks a bit ragged and especially down the wing. I was pretty close to where the slip happened, and the turf actually gave way when he planted his foot. For me Cooper and Adyemi are more to blame - Tom is meant to be there as a shield for the back 4, but he was jogging back and not tracking the run into the box and Liam over-committed and gave their striker a free shot on the 6 yard box.

That said, I think Sol needs to cut out his marauding runs to the edge of the opposition's box. Twice this season (that I've seen) he's done that and lost the ball, setting up a counter attack. He wasn't even really shifting to get back once he lost it!

Don't think anyone played well in the first half. Berardi got a couple of good blocks in and Cook was positive going forward, but other than that everyone was below par.

Second half was much improved, although only really once Murphy came on. Ant gives us much more energy up front than Wood (not a slight on Chris, they're different kinds of players) and I think the combination of those two scares defenders. Dallas was brilliant for the last half hour and their fullback and winger on that side were walking a tightrope after getting booked.

We had a decent shout for a handball in the box in the last seconds, but it would have been a bit of a gift after the poor hour we played.

Don't know why Byram was drifting inside so much, he needs to be attacking fullbacks and getting balls in the box, not trying pot shots from the edge of the area. Think Wood's header was a fair enough effort considering it was from the edge of the box and he was unlucky to have a shot bundled onto the post.

Murphy needs to start tomorrow - he gave us a lot more energy and strength in midfield than Adyemi and brought Taylor into the game much more.

Once again you get the wrong meaning all I am saying is you get more value for your money at a lot of non league games you are not paying for prima donna players they are mainly honest players who play for the love of the game not for what money you can make out of it prices are lower so are drinks and all catering you are not been ripped off by greedy owners a couple of weeks ago got a pint and a fantastic pie at consett town ground for £3.50 and one of my mates took his young son paid £9.50 for both of them to get in and the best thing was his son turnd round and said dad how come both sets of fans stand toghther not like at leeds.

All about economics/overheads EY. Watching prem/champs football/other top sporting events/pop concerts/London shows are all very expensive especially refreshments which are priced far too high. £3.50 for a pie & pint is terrific value, £7 at Leeds

Unfortunately most levels of football is probably the only sport where fans can't stand together with the opposition supporters....it must be a tribal thing !

The performance on Saturday wasnt great but I'm still optimistic we can have a good year. At least we ground out the draw rather than accepting defeat. We did have some luck I admit. I think we will improve and get better.

From the game I wanna dig out Adeyemi & Bamba.

Bamba was just awful, don't really need to elaborate on that.

Adeyemi I just wasn't impressed with at all. Slow, pedestrian, lack lusture. At one point, Alan McCormack a 31 yr old lower league journey man, left him for dead in the middle of the park. It gave the impression his fitness was either questionable, or maybe he just didn't have the desire.

I'd have took him off before Mowatt personally. Even if Mowatt is having a poor game, he's got creativity in his locker, good passing and more energy than Adeyemi. If you have Mowatt and Adeyemi both having poor games, Adeyemi has to be the one off first for me! Mowatt we know is capable of alot more than Adeyemi. I think moving Cook into the holding position with Mowatt & Murphy either side would have worked better for us attacking wise... Saying that, fair play Adeyemi did come up with the goal vs Derby so I'll let Rosler off!

I think the decision was more about Mowatt's injury tbf, Rosler said he'd have to take him off at some point and did it early with us trailing at half time. Murphy coming on for Adyemi made a big difference and I'd expect Adyemi to be on the bench tomorrow, unless Mowatt isn't fit.
