Amazing when you think they were in League One at the same time as we were. Now we are a million miles behind the foxes

To tell the truth, Tottenham have always been a bit 'Lightweight' - good in spurts but not Championship (Premiership) material. This year their new manager has galvanised them into a cohesive force where they have added consistency and 'bite' to their repertoire.
If Leicester don't do it I hope Spurs do. I've enjoyed watching some of their games.

If what is alleged in that article has a ring of truth, I still don't understand how MCFC and Chelscum have got away with the tremendous amounts they have paid for players in the last few seasons under the same so-called rules.
The excess of spending by MCFC alone and the timing of this 'revelation' has to be linked to an attempt to unsettle the champions elect.

Would be surprised if the investigation is being prodded on my certain Manchester-area and London-area clubs who don't like the apple cart being pushed off the cliff.

Disgraceful if it is Dan but we all know how skulduggery works.
I hope even more now that they win it and, if adjudged to have erred, leave the FA with the dilemma of how to apply a punishment which doesn't involve taking the Premiership title away from them by deducting points in the current season, because that would be truly disgraceful.
It all may come to nothing, but I wouldn't trust that bunch of self-seekers to even recognise the truth.

Maybe - there's a phrase which Martyn once used ("Regression toward the Mean") to explain why long runs of victories (or defeats) come to an end, and Leicester are 5-0-0 (6-1-0 since their last defeat to the Arse).mchldavies7 weote:

Re: Leicester are going to do it.
A win for Leicester against West Ham will be that mathematically only Spurs, Arsenal and Man Citeh can catch them. for the Citeh to do so, they will have to win their remaining five games and Leicester lose their remaining four.
Come on Leicester, you can do it.

Quite so Harry - a 7 point lead at this stage is a fair cushion for the possible odd defeat or draw.HarryofOz wrote:

Spurs are obviously the main threat with their table position and the way they're playing, but it would take an absolute collapse from Leicester for that to happen.
The most points Spurs can get is 80 if they win their 5 remaining games (and no other team can get as many) so, because Leicester have an inferior Goal Difference but still 72 points, they need to get to 81 points to ensure the title, so 3 wins, or 2 wins and 3 draws would put them there.
I'll be watching the match at 0730 U.S. CT tomorrow.
Harry, from where do you get your coverage of football games, specifically English ones? Is it a mix of cable/satellite and streaming or some service in particular?
Just curious.

Nearly all the football you see here is via Pay TV, and all the English football is. We have one free to air channel that shows one Champions League match per round and one match from the Australian league per round. Otherwise it's all via Pay TV. There may be some streaming as well, but I don't know as I don't use it.
The rights for the EPL have changed for next season to a different Pay TV provider and there is supposedly going to be more streaming and there will definitely be one game on free to air.
The current service of the EPL is very good as you see every single game live, or rather every single game is shown live, you obviously can't watch more than one when they are played at the same time. For the Saturday games viewer's get to choose which game to watch. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for Leeds to return to the EPL so that I can watch them each week.
I must admit that despite the service I don't watch the EPL much because of the time difference between the UK and Oz and on the days that Leeds are playing, when I do get up to follow the game, I listen to Leeds via LUTV rather than watch the live EPL games on telly. Sometimes I have the telly on as well, but usually I can't be bothered.
I don't have access to the Championship games that are shown because I can't get the relevant channel through my Pay TV subscriber. That same channel now shows Champions League football and I believe football from other countries in Europe but as I don't have it, I don't know the details.
