How come when Wood jumps against the keeper it's a free kick, when Fondra jumps against Pennington nothing then Cooper jumps against Fondra it's a free kick says it all really

Cooper clears another, he's having a good game, our back four won't come up against a much more physical team than this

Did we really pay to have sacko? He's so unbelievably useless.

Shows how desperately we need another centre back and full back

A lot of sweaty palms (and houndie paws) in this house. A good win against a battling Bolton side, a good away day for our supporters. Cooper played a blinder i thought, really pleased for him

Looks like we aren't gonna be short of goals this season then
Think the boards hands are tied and we are going to have to get another centre half now for certain

Coops had a great game today, Anita looks a proper player.......Sacko was just dreadful. Loved some of Pablo's skill.....that one that hit the bar.....would have been a sublime finish.

Thought overall we were poor today but did look really threatening when we broke. I think we look a lot stronger attacking wise but a lot weaker defensively but hopefully that will improve when PJ is back.
Not convinced about Felix but let's not forget that Green wasn't great at the start of last season so hopefully Felix will improve. I would expect RG to get the start in the cup.

3-2 win v a very poor Bolton side. Good result but some worrying indicators

Weidwald - 4 - Not sure yet what makes this guy a sweeper keeper.
Ayling - 7 - very good going forward, still suspect in defence
Beradi - 6 - and then injured. Anita - 7 Very assured
Cooper - 8 - A rock in defence today, nothing to do with either goal
Pennington 7 - Solid but did nothing that made you sit up
Hernandez 7 - Tried to do too much which is indicative of us not quite gelling at times.
Gianni - 8 - After a dodgy start he energised the team
O Kane - 6 - Looks a little lightweight, one footed and one paced to me..
Phillips - 7 - Great goal, Goal that will probably be called an own goal at some point and little else
Wood - 7 - A little off his game but played on manfully and did well for his goal

Shaughnessy - 4 - I saw him pull a shirt, not a centre back so difficult to score on debut

Eunan was fantastic for me, so good on the ball, nice energy about him and very vocal, I think a player like him needs a physically strong player to partner him, but some of his passes split the defence.
6 very harsh

But O'Kane was MOTM, he makes us tick allowing the likes of Pablo, Roofe & Aloiski to strut their stuff

Great player, imagine once they all gel!! Don't think Philips and Eunan is a partnership that will work long term, too nice. Let's hope Klich is a monster!!

Cooper was my MOM followed closely by O'Kane who had a very good game. Worrying managerial decision to bring Sacko on when we are defending a 3-2 lead and although he wasn't on for long he managed to confirm that he is useless ! I think having watched them that 3 points against Bolton was a must get as most teams will do the same.

Okane motm for. Me. Too.

Drifted in out of the game as was working but he seems a beast in the centre, wins tackles left right and centre and never wastes the ball.
