very poor undone by two corners. need a keeper to come and claim these. 68% of the ball and hardly created f**k all. balance of the side seemed odd to me. roberts is no number 9 ! thought phillips was motm . very frustrating afternoon. grrrrrrrrrrrr !

Awful performance, we looked worse than mediocre. Two home wins needed badly now

BPF - 7 - a couple of nice saves but his first half clearances were poor and could have bitten us badly. Not his bet game
Dallas - 3 - Poor defensively, offered little going forward
Beradi - 8 - Great battle with their best player all afternoon, which honours were even in the end. Got the assist. Welcome back, needs to start
PJ - 6 - Poor on the ball out of defence, at least partially to blame for their goals, apart from that quiet
Cooper - 4 - Worse than Pontus and I'm beginning to wonder if they can actually play together. Again centre backs should be dealing with crosses into the box and way too many passes back to BPF from both and gave away possession too cheaply at times. The elbow was disgraceful

Phillips - 7 - Good game without ever really doing anything on the ball
Klich - 8 - got the goal and always looked like he was our biggest threat to score
Alioski - 8 - Quality cross after quality cross which went begging with some horrible headers or control.
Roofe - 6/8 - 6 for the RW work and a point knocked off for the bad foul, 8 For the short time he played up front where he was way more dangerous.
Saiz - 6 - Typical Saiz performance, close to a 9 if some of those passes come off but they didn't so a 6

Roberts - 4 - Worst game as a starter for us, I don't recall him getting in a position to score. Must have been worse on the wing as he was quickly moved back to forward again..

Clarke - 7 - A radio commentary 7 because it sounded like he was lively and causing problems...should have come on earlier imo for a tiring not match fit Roofe
Heranadez - 7 - Again lost TV as he came on but sounded bright and drew praise from Eddie and co
Shackleton - On to late to score

A very poor performance, but I thought a draw would have been fair, so very disappointing to lose a game like that, especially with two soft goals. I do wonder whether the sun was an issue for the 2nd as BPF had a cap on and we were facing the sun, with Blackburn having their backs to it. Pablo and Clarke came on far too late for me. Why did Roofe and Berardi go straight back in but not Pablo who's been our most influential player?

Alio is a wierd one despite his good game today, he's a better right winger than left but a decent left wing back

I'm afraid thats on Bielsa imo.

We have praised him for the style and what not.

But we are seeing the stubborn side of him now.

As evidence by the swappings he got the selection wrong.

He knows Dallas isnt a full back, he knows neither Roofe or Roberts are wingers (he said that himself on Roberts).

But he allowed his favouritism to select the team and it was ineffective.

Roofe and Roberts hardly made any impact and Dallas was rubbish.

Clarke should have started
Alioski should have been left back.
And either Roofe or Roberts should have been replaced by Hernandez in the starting line up.

To many square pegs in round holes and that is on Bielsa.

Fair play Blackburn.

They were a more cohesive unit.

There are a couple of issues that need dealing with. Pontus and Coop don't seem to play well together, it's been the case for a while now, it happens but it needs to be addressed . We know Coop Beradi works so maybe try Beradi PJ for a while

Klich looks to be the obvious captain, he has the arrogance while being the calmest player on the pitch.

Cooper is going back to his true level after playing well for a few games. He does the same thing every season, but no one at the club seems to see it.

Or does PJ being there affect his game, Coop has lost his confidence since PJ got back in but looked quality alongside Beradi. Needs to be dropped but god forbid we give the armband to Ayling, he's a really bad captain.

Last season he was excellent at the start, then descended into his usual calamitous self after September, so it's more of a repeat of that. Jansson's been carrying the defence recently so no way can be be dropped for Berardi.

PJ was poor today and indeed had the BR commentators scratching their heads as they heard he was top quality (He is but they don't see him week in week out. and there was a comment how hard up for CB must Sweden be if PJ is an international CB) Beradi was the player that worried them most of the time I was listening, as they kept saying he was negating their winger while also causing problems up the pitch. They wanted Armstrong switched (Goes to show how differently we all see things especially if you don't watch week in week out) to get him away from Gaetano

Not advocating we drop PJ for Gaetano for one second..I'm advocating dropping Coop for Beradi for a few games. Course that will leave us shaky in defence till it beds in but we are anyway
